The Hyundai IONIQ 6 has achieved a significant milestone by being named the highest-ranking mass-market battery electric vehicle (BEV) in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience Ownership Study. The vehicle improved from its previous third-place position, scoring more than 26 points above the mass-market BEV category average.

The study evaluates consumer satisfaction based on key factors including range, driving enjoyment, charging convenience, and overall vehicle quality. The IONIQ 6's success is attributed to three main factors: vehicle range, cost of ownership, and quality/reliability.

Hyundai Motor (HYMTF) and Samsung Electronics have successfully completed a pilot project for Private 5G (P-5G) RedCap technology, marking a significant advancement in smart manufacturing. The technology will be showcased at MWC25 Barcelona from March 3-6, 2025.

The collaboration verified P-5G RedCap technology, which offers simplified device configurations, reduced bandwidth usage, and lower power consumption compared to traditional Wi-Fi.
