As part of the corporate social responsibility initiative, Hyundai Hope, these funds will provide additional car seats and expand child passenger safety efforts throughout the Metro Detroit area.

At the Children's Hospital of Michigan Specialty Center near the main hospital in Detroit, Hyundai and Children's Hospital of Michigan hosted a car seat safety check event. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST) educated parents and caregivers on the correct installation and use of car seats. They also performed thorough safety inspections, checking for expiration dates, manufacturer recalls, and proper fit. Families in need of new car seats were provided with free replacements to help ensure their children's safety.
