Located at the EdgeConneX Houston data center campus, the Global Training Center is an operational, purpose-built data center learning environment designed to prepare service teams for next-generation infrastructure. By incorporating Accelsius’ NeuCool® two-phase, direct-to-chip liquid cooling technology into its curriculum, the facility will provide operators, technicians, and ecosystem partners with hands-on experience deploying and servicing two-phase liquid cooling systems for AI workloads.
"Two-phase cooling is demonstrating continued momentum toward adoption due to the simplified service model enabled by Accelsius' refrigerant-based architecture," said John Hewitt, CEO of Accelsius. "Unlike conventional single-phase systems that require significant fluid management and maintenance within the server cooling loop, NeuCool frees maintenance teams to focus on uptime and efficiency workflows rather than sustaining the cooling infrastructure itself. EdgeConneX continues to demonstrate its customer-first mindset by training its technicians on alternative thermal architectures to meet its customers' unique requirements and deployments.”
Reimagined for the mission-critical liquid cooling era, the IR150 integrates a two-phase CDU directly into the IT enclosure. The result is a true plug-and-play solution for high-density, two-phase-enabled deployments. The system dramatically simplifies installation, reduces total cooling system (TCS) complexity and cost, and confines failure domains to a single rack.
EdgeConneX developed the Global Training Center to standardize operational training across its global organization, giving participants practical instruction in a production-like environment before they support customer deployments in the field. "Our Global Training Center was built to prepare operators for the technologies shaping the future of data centers," said Brian Green, EVP Engineering & Operations at EdgeConneX. "Adding two-phase liquid cooling gives our teams and partners hands-on experience with a technology that's becoming central to AI infrastructure."
The EdgeConneX Global Training Center is open to customers, partners, and industry visitors interested in experiencing the latest data center technologies through guided tours and hands-on training.
