2 terms
open-ear audio technical
"Lucyd is the combination of practical everyday utility, open-ear audio, AI-enabled functionality"
Open-ear audio describes headphones or earbuds that deliver sound without blocking or sealing the ear canal, using speakers positioned near the ear or vibration against the skull so users can hear music and surroundings at the same time. For investors, it signals a product category driven by safety and lifestyle demand—think listening to a podcast while staying aware of traffic—so adoption, patent positions, supply chain costs and brand differentiation can all affect sales and profit potential.
bluetooth-enabled technical
"The Company's Bluetooth-enabled audio eyewear allows users to remain connected"
Bluetooth-enabled means a product includes built-in short-range wireless technology that lets it connect and exchange data with other devices without cords, like a remote that talks to a speaker. For investors this matters because such connectivity can make devices more attractive to buyers, enable software updates and new services after sale, and tie products into larger ecosystems—factors that can boost sales, recurring revenue and competitive value.
