5 terms
multispectral imaging medical
"combines multispectral imaging with a proprietary AI algorithm to assess"
Multispectral imaging is a way of taking pictures that capture light across several distinct bands, including wavelengths the human eye cannot see, to reveal material properties or features hidden in ordinary photos. For investors, this technology can signal improved product capabilities, more accurate testing or monitoring, and new market opportunities or cost savings for companies that use it, making it a factor in competitive advantage and capital allocation decisions.
ai algorithm technical
"combines multispectral imaging with a proprietary AI algorithm to assess"
A machine-learning program that digests large amounts of data to spot patterns, make predictions or carry out tasks without step-by-step human instructions — think of it as a very fast, self-tuning recipe that improves as it sees more ingredients. Investors care because these systems can change a company’s speed, accuracy and cost in areas like product development, customer service and trading, affecting growth, margins and operational risk.
de novo 510(k) regulatory
"submitted its De Novo 510(k) marketing clearance application for the DeepView"
A de novo 510(k) is a U.S. Food and Drug Administration pathway that lets a novel, low- to moderate-risk medical device gain market permission when there is no existing similar device to compare it with. Investors care because clearance through this route can be faster and less costly than the highest-risk approval process, acting like an official green light that can unlock sales, reimbursement and competitive advantage for a company’s new product.
marketing clearance regulatory
"De Novo 510(k) marketing clearance application for the DeepView System to the"
Marketing clearance is official permission from a government regulator to sell a medical product or device after regulators review safety, performance data, and the product’s instructions and packaging. For investors it is a key commercial milestone because it allows sales to begin, reduces regulatory uncertainty, and can unlock revenue and partnerships—much like a business license that lets a store legally open and operate.
u.s. food and drug administration (fda) regulatory
"application for the DeepView System to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)"
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a government agency responsible for protecting public health by ensuring the safety and effectiveness of food, medicines, vaccines, and other health-related products. For investors, the FDA’s decisions can significantly impact companies in the healthcare and food industries, as approval or rejection of products can influence a company's success and stock performance.
