Markel appoints Chelsea Jiang as Managing Director - Greater China
Markel Insurance (NYSE: MKL) has appointed Chelsea Jiang as Managing Director for Greater China, based in Hong Kong. Jiang, formerly Chief Technical & Innovation Officer at AXA's General Insurance business in Greater China, will oversee Markel's operations in both Hong Kong and Shanghai.
In her new role, Jiang will report to Sucheng Chang, Managing Director – Asia Pacific, and focus on driving growth, enhancing product offerings, and strengthening broker and client relationships across the Greater China region. The appointment aims to bring greater alignment and foster stronger collaboration between Markel's Hong Kong and Shanghai teams.
