4 terms
dual listing financial
"today announced the dual listing of its common stock on the Nasdaq Texas"
A dual listing is when a company makes the same shares available on two different stock exchanges, often in different countries, so investors can buy and sell the same ownership stake in more than one market—like a shop opening branches in two cities that sell the same product. It matters to investors because it can widen the pool of buyers, make shares easier to trade, expose the stock to different currencies and rules, and create price differences or arbitrage opportunities that affect returns and risk.
View in glossary
nasdaq global select market financial
"The Company will maintain its primary listing on the Nasdaq Global Select Market"
A Nasdaq Global Select Market listing is the highest tier of stocks on the Nasdaq exchange, reserved for companies that meet the strictest financial, reporting and governance standards. For investors, it acts like a premium quality label—signaling larger, more transparent and better-governed companies that tend to offer greater liquidity and lower perceived risk compared with lower-tier listings, making it easier to buy, sell and evaluate shares.
common stock financial
"dual listing of its common stock on the Nasdaq Texas, LLC"
Common stock represents ownership shares in a company, giving investors a stake in its success and a say in important decisions through voting rights. It is the most common type of stock traded on markets and can provide income through dividends, as well as potential for value growth. For investors, holding common stock means sharing in the company’s profits and risks.
governance structure regulatory
"will not involve the issuance of new shares or change the Company’s governance structure"
Governance structure is the system of rules, roles and processes that determine how a company is directed and controlled — who makes decisions, how power is divided among owners, the board and managers, and what checks and reporting are required. Investors care because it shapes how risks and opportunities are handled; good governance is like a reliable playbook that helps prevent surprises, conflicts of interest and misuse of resources, protecting long‑term value.
