Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
Senzime (SNZZF) reported third-quarter 2026 net sales growth of 14%, alongside higher margins and narrower operating losses.
Sales reached TSEK 30,099, versus TSEK 26,478 a year earlier; TSEK means thousands of Swedish kronor. Gross margin before depreciation on intangible assets rose to 74.0% from 61.2%. Operating expenses fell to TSEK 31,039 from TSEK 36,642, while EBITDA, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, improved to TSEK -8,026 from TSEK -19,395. Disposable sensor sales grew 43% and represented 83% of quarterly sales, versus 66% a year earlier.
January–September sales increased 3% to TSEK 78,002. Cash at September 30 was TSEK 28,715, versus TSEK 106,630, with TSEK 35,000 in additional available credit facilities. Senzime maintained its target of achieving positive cash flow within the fourth quarter of 2026.
How this balance works
Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.
It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.
Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Philip Siberg, CEO, comments:
The third quarter demonstrates that our initiatives to strengthen profitability are delivering clear results. We report growth across all regions, continued strong performance in recurring sensor sales, and a significantly improved gross margin. At the same time, we have continued to reduce costs and improve cash flow. Our target of achieving positive cash flow within the fourth quarter of 2026 remains unchanged.
Net sales increased by 14 percent in the third quarter to SEK 30.1 million, driven by higher sales across all regions, with growth of 9 percent in the US, 20 percent in Europe, and 33 percent in the rest of the world.
The key driver was the increase in recurring sales of disposable sensors. Sensor sales grew by 43 percent, clearly demonstrating that utilization of our TetraGraph systems continues to increase among existing hospital customers. The growing share of recurring revenues strengthens the predictability of our business and is a central component of our long-term business model. Sensors accounted for 83 percent of total quarterly sales, compared with 66 percent in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
In mid-July, we entered into an agreement with Philips Medical Systems, marking one of the most important strategic milestones in Senzime's history. The collaboration involves jointly developing new solutions based on our respective technologies, which will subsequently be commercialized through Philips' global organization.
Our long-term outlook for the market remains very positive, with an estimated 80,000 EMG-based neuromuscular monitors expected to be in use worldwide over the next decade. Our ambition is to be the undisputed global market leader and capture the majority of this market opportunity. Following a period of significant investment, we have built a growing base of recurring revenues from customers around the world, established strategic OEM partnerships, and made our operations increasingly efficient. Together, these achievements position us well to capitalize on the opportunities ahead and drive sustainable, profitable growth.
