Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. Salazar Resources (SRLZF) reported rain-disrupted construction at Curipamba-El Domo and started drilling at its wholly owned Tarqui project.

El Domo construction was suspended during 77 days of rain in July–September 2026, with rainfall 489% above the six-year average. Completed works needed repairs, and open-pit pre-stripping slowed. Salazar's 25% interest is fully carried through commercial production, with no obligation to fund this work. Approximately 1.0 million cubic metres of excavation and pre-stripping were completed; plant foundations are complete.

Tarqui's initial Yumi program comprises approximately 1,500 metres in five holes. Monja drilling is planned from the first quarter of 2027, subject to access and permits. Salazar also engaged Minera IR and Market Equities, subject to TSXV acceptance, with initial cash costs of C$18,000 anticipated and US$100,000, respectively.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

MANAGEMENT COMMENTARY

Fredy Salazar, President and CEO of Salazar Resources, stated: "Silvercorp has had to build El Domo through extreme rainfall, and we will report the updated schedule when the operator provides it. What does not change is that our 25% interest is fully carried to commercial production, so Salazar has no obligation to fund this work. Our own drill is now turning at Tarqui, paid for by our recent financing. With El Domo moving towards production, this is the right time to put the Company in front of more institutional investors, and Minera IR brings the capital-markets experience to help us do that."
