Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Trident Digital Tech Holdings (Nasdaq: TDTH) announced CEO Soon Huat Lim’s intention to buy up to 1,000,000 Class B ordinary shares in the open market.

Purchases would use personal funds at prices not exceeding US$1.00 per share, through a registered broker. Lim intends to report purchases on Form 4. Acquired shares will carry the same lock-up and leak-out restrictions as those agreed by September 2026 investors. Lim beneficially owned approximately 8.92% of outstanding shares as of October 28, 2026.

The program follows conversion of approximately US$8 million of obligations into equity. Sikaflow is generating revenue in Ghana; the company expects approximately US$14 million in revenue from it by year-end, with full reporting in year-end results. Trident plans to launch IRMA in November across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kenya and Ghana.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

"report his purchases on Form 4 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission"
Form 4 is a official document that company insiders, such as executives or major shareholders, file with regulators whenever they buy or sell company shares. It provides transparency about how those with inside knowledge are trading, helping investors see if insiders are confident in the company's prospects or may be selling for personal reasons. This information can influence investor decisions by revealing insiders' perspectives on the company's value.

lock-up financial
"subject to the same lock-up and leak-out terms"
A lock-up is an agreement that prevents company insiders, early investors or employees from selling their shares for a set period after a public share offering. It matters to investors because it temporarily limits the number of shares available to trade—like a scheduled hold on extra inventory—and when that hold ends a large number of shares can enter the market, potentially putting downward pressure on the stock price and revealing insiders’ confidence in the company.
leak-out financial
"subject to the same lock-up and leak-out terms"
Leak-out is the unauthorized or early disclosure of confidential company information to the public or select market participants before an official announcement. It matters to investors because unexpected or partial information can move a stock’s price, create uncertainty about the reliability of the company’s communications, and raise regulatory or insider-trading concerns—like hearing a rumor that shifts people’s buying decisions before the full story is told.

Shares acquired will be subject to the same lock-up and leak-out terms as the Company’s September 2026 investors; purchases to be reported on Form 4

SINGAPORE, Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Trident Digital Tech Holdings Ltd (Nasdaq: TDTH) (“Trident” or the “Company”), a Singapore-based digital identity and Web3 technology company, today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Soon Huat Lim, intends to purchase up to 1,000,000 of the Company’s Class B ordinary shares in the open market using his personal funds, at prices not to exceed US$1.00 per share.

Mr. Lim’s purchases will be executed in an expeditious manner within an appropriate timeframe following this announcement, through a registered broker and in accordance with applicable securities laws. Mr. Lim intends to report his purchases on Form 4 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, giving shareholders direct visibility into every share acquired.

Every share Mr. Lim purchases under this program will be subject to the same lock-up and leak-out terms entered into by the Company’s September 2026 investors, as announced on October 20, 2026. The Chief Executive Officer is placing his personal capital under the same holding discipline he asked of the Company’s investors — buying in the open market, holding on the same terms, and reporting publicly.

As of October 28, 2026, Mr. Lim beneficially owns approximately 8.92% of the Company’s outstanding shares. The purchase program follows a series of balance-sheet and shareholder-alignment actions announced by the Company in recent weeks, including the conversion of approximately US$8 million of obligations into equity and the execution of the lock-up and leak-out agreement by a majority of the September 2026 investors.

The announcement comes as the Company moves from deployment to revenue. Trident’s Sikaflow rollout in Ghana has gained traction and is now generating revenue, with a full account to be provided in the Company’s year-end financial report. In November, the Company will launch IRMA across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kenya and Ghana.

“I am buying Trident shares with my own money because I believe in what we are building, and I want my capital standing beside our shareholders’ capital,” said Soon Huat Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Trident. “Sikaflow is live in Ghana with revenue already streaming in, and we expect it to deliver approximately US$14 million in revenue by year-end, which we will report in full in our year-end financial results. In November we launch IRMA across five markets — Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kenya and Ghana. I am making this purchase alongside that launch because it positions the Company for the major catalysts ahead and for the revenue guidance our shareholders have been waiting for. I will not ask shareholders to hold a position I am unwilling to hold myself. Every share I buy will be locked up on the same terms, and every purchase will be on the public record.”
