Recent fundamental updates (notably Q3 2025 earnings) were followed by positive 1-day reactions, so the current negative move on strong full-year results marks a departure from that pattern.

Recent Company History

Over the past six months, TIGR has regularly updated investors on earnings and growth. Q3 2025 results on Dec 4, 2025 featured record revenues and net income, with client assets reaching US$61.0B and the stock rising about 4% on the day. Earlier, earnings date announcements on Nov 20, 2025 and Mar 6, 2026 saw small negative reactions. A crypto compliance partnership on Nov 4, 2025 coincided with a modest gain. Against this backdrop, today’s record 2025 results extend the growth trajectory but the initial price move diverges from prior strong-earnings reactions.

7 terms
non-gaap financial
"Non-GAAP net income attributable to UP Fintech shareholders for the quarter was US$48.9 million"
Non-GAAP refers to financial measures that companies use to show their earnings or performance without including certain expenses or income that are often added back to give a different picture. It matters because it can make a company's results look better or more favorable, but it may also hide important costs, so investors need to look at both GAAP (official rules) and non-GAAP numbers to get a full understanding.
View in glossary
margin accounts financial
"in Australia, we introduced margin accounts to help users improve capital utilization"
A margin account is a brokerage account that lets an investor borrow money from the broker to buy more securities than they could with cash alone, using the securities in the account as security for the loan. Think of it like a mortgage for stock purchases: borrowing increases potential gains but also magnifies losses, can trigger a forced sale if the account falls below required limits, and carries interest costs—factors investors must manage carefully.
ipo regulatory
"the Company's investment banking business completed 20 Hong Kong IPOs, up 250% QoQ"
An initial public offering (IPO) is the process by which a private company sells its shares to the public for the first time, making its ownership available on the stock market. This allows the company to raise money from a wide range of investors to fund growth or other goals. For investors, an IPO offers a chance to buy into a company early in its public journey, potentially benefiting if the company grows in value.
View in glossary
structured notes financial
"Structured notes also entered a rapid growth phase, as transaction volume rose 50.6% QoQ"
Structured notes are investment contracts issued by banks that combine a regular loan-like component with a payment formula tied to the performance of stocks, indexes, interest rates or other assets. Think of them as a customized financial recipe: they can offer higher potential returns or partial downside protection compared with a plain bond, but those benefits depend on complex terms and the issuer’s ability to pay. Investors should care because structured notes mix market exposure with issuer credit risk, limited liquidity and fees, so outcomes can be hard to predict and may differ from plain stock or bond investments.
twap technical
"Group Trade now supports Iceberg orders, TWAP and VWAP orders, as well as one-click trading"
TWAP (time-weighted average price) is the average price of a security over a specified time window, calculated so each moment in that window counts equally. Traders use TWAP as a benchmark and execution guideline for spreading large buy or sell orders to avoid moving the market; comparing a trade’s result to the TWAP helps investors judge whether the execution was efficient or expensive, like slicing an order into even pieces over time to stay discreet.
vwap technical
"Group Trade now supports Iceberg orders, TWAP and VWAP orders, as well as one-click trading"
VWAP, or Volume-Weighted Average Price, is a way to find the average price of a stock throughout the trading day, giving more importance to times when more shares are traded. It helps traders see the typical price and decide whether a stock is expensive or cheap compared to its average, similar to finding the average speed during a trip by giving more weight to times when you traveled faster or slower.
esop financial
"On the ESOP side, UponeShare added 39 new clients in Q4"
An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a program that gives employees ownership shares in their company, often as part of their benefits package. It acts like a company-sponsored savings plan, allowing workers to have a stake in the company's success, which can boost motivation and loyalty. For investors, ESOPs can influence company decisions and stock value, making them an important aspect of corporate ownership and governance.
