Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Standard Dental Labs (OTCQB: TUTH) acquired all assets of M&D Dental Arts, with its work moving into SDL’s Orlando facility. The assets include the client base and accounts receivable. SDL expects the acquired work to double Orlando’s current output. Recent upgrades increased capacity to nearly four times its previous level; management expects substantial capacity to remain after integration. One M&D owner will support clients and staff training, but M&D’s staff will not transfer.

SDL’s internally developed Bridge customer relationship management and digital workflow platform is in live testing, with company-wide launch anticipated by December 1, 2026. It will initially be exclusive to SDL, with free case submission for dentists. SDL expects to complete a 3D computer-aided design module within the next three months, using AI to create restoration designs under technician supervision.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Acquisition expected to double Orlando laboratory output; internally developed platform connects digital dentistry workflows and lays groundwork for AI-assisted restoration design

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Standard Dental Labs Inc. (OTCQB: TUTH) (“SDL” or the “Company”) today announced the acquisition of all assets of M&D Dental Arts, LLC, of Deltona, Florida, including its client base and accounts receivable. The acquired laboratory’s work will transition into SDL’s existing Orlando facility and is expected to double that laboratory’s current production output.

Recent facility upgrades increased Orlando’s production capacity to nearly four times its previous level. Management expects substantial capacity to remain available after the M&D work is integrated, positioning the facility to accommodate further acquisitions and organic growth.

One of M&D’s owners will continue supporting the acquired client base and training SDL’s existing staff on established protocols, helping preserve customer relationships and case requirements during the transition. M&D’s staff will not transfer to SDL.

“The Orlando upgrades gave us room to grow, and this acquisition puts more of that capacity to work,” said James D. Brooks, President and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Dental Labs Inc. “We expect M&D’s work to double our current Orlando output while leaving substantial room for additional business. Having one of the owners support the transition will help our team carry forward the protocols and attention those dentists expect.”

Bridge Software Targeted for Company-Wide Launch by December 1

SDL also announced that Bridge, its internally developed AI-driven customer relationship management and digital workflow platform, is undergoing live testing, with a company-wide launch anticipated by December 1, 2026.

Developed in-house with cooperation from iTero and DS Core through their respective API platforms, Bridge uses AI to bring incoming work from multiple digital dentistry platforms into a single interface. It combines case information with available patient and client history to give dental technicians a more complete understanding of each case and the dental practice’s requirements.

The platform is designed to connect practices, laboratory teams and vendors while supporting more informed production decisions and more consistent, refined restorations. Its name reflects both its role as a bridge between systems and participants and the crowns and bridges produced by SDL’s laboratories.

Bridge will initially remain exclusive to SDL’s operations. Dentists will be able to use it as an interface for submitting cases to SDL at no charge, both at launch and over the long term. The platform is also intended to give dentists access to real-time production information.

“Bridge brings the information surrounding a case together so our technicians can work with a fuller picture of the patient and the client’s history,” Brooks said. “Our goal is to make sending work to SDL easier and give our team better tools to deliver a polished finished product. The case-submission interface will remain free for dentists.”

AI Design Module Under Development

SDL expects to complete Bridge’s next module, a 3D computer-aided design application for dental technicians, within the next three months. The module is being developed to use AI to create restoration designs from scratch, with experienced technicians supervising the process and guiding continued improvement through their feedback and completed cases.

The Company’s objective is to reduce dependence on costly design libraries while accelerating the design workflow and shortening turnaround times for dentists and patients. Although Bridge’s case-submission interface will remain free, future workflows may involve separate costs associated with intraoral scanners or other dental equipment.

“We are developing AI as a tool that works with the experience of our technicians and continues to improve with each case,” Brooks said. “By reducing reliance on expensive design libraries and speeding up the work involved in producing a restoration, we see an opportunity to improve both service and production economics as SDL grows.”

Together, the M&D acquisition, expanded Orlando capacity and continued development of Bridge advance SDL’s strategy of combining established dental laboratory customer relationships with shared production infrastructure and internally developed technology.
