CANTON, Mich., Nov. 12, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- UTI-Canton (formerly MIAT-Canton) today announced it has received the silver-level award from the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, designating the campus as a veteran-friendly institution. UTI is Universal Technical Institute, Inc.'s transportation, skilled trades, and energy education division.

The Michigan Veteran-Friendly Schools Program recognizes academic institutions committed to supporting the needs of veterans and military-connected students. UTI-Canton provides several veteran-centric services and programs and meets the criteria to receive the silver-level award.
