fractional-ownership financial
Fractional ownership is the division of legal or economic rights in an asset into smaller pieces so multiple people each own a proportional share. It lets investors buy a portion of a high-value item—such as an expensive stock, piece of real estate, or collectible—like neighbors sharing a house; it matters because it lowers the cash needed to participate and changes how income, voting rights, liquidity, and tax obligations are split among owners.
