Keysight Technologies (NYSE: KEYS) has secured U.S. antitrust clearance for its acquisition of Spirent Communications through a consent decree with the Department of Justice. As part of the agreement, Keysight and Spirent will divest Spirent's high-speed ethernet, network security, and channel emulation business lines to VIAVI Solutions or another DOJ-approved buyer. This divestment expands upon the previously announced March 2025 agreement through an amendment adding the channel emulation business line. This marks the first product validation at VALOR's new RF-shielded anechoic chamber in Chandler, Arizona. The testing ensures compliance with O-RAN and 3GPP specifications. Metanoia's JURA O-RU, a 4T4R 24dbm 5G FR1 radio unit for sub-6 GHz bands, underwent comprehensive testing using reference O-CU and O-DU components. The VALOR RF chamber, developed with ETS-Lindgren, offers Test-as-a-Service for Massive MIMO and beamforming OTA validation, supporting up to 16 parallel spatial layers. VALOR provides access to over 500 test cases compliant with various specifications and is authorized by the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) for system performance certification. The lab serves AI-RAN Alliance members and customers referred by AT&T and Verizon's ACCoRD.
