(NYSE: VRE, "Veris" or the "Company"), a Northeast-focused, Class A multifamily real estate investment trust (REIT), today announced that an investor consortium led by Affinius Capital ("Affinius") in partnership with Vista Hill Partners ("Vista Hill", and together with Affinius, the "Investor Consortium") has completed the previously announced acquisition of all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Veris for $19.00 per share in an all-cash transaction representing an implied enterprise value of approximately $3.5 billion. With the completion of the transaction, the Company's common stock has ceased trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
