Vortex Energy (OTC:VTECF) has announced the successful deployment of Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) sensors at its Robinsons River Salt Project in Newfoundland and Labrador. The sensors will remain in place for several weeks to passively record seismic noise across the project area.
Following the recording period, field crews will retrieve the sensors and process the collected data to create high-resolution subsurface images. These images will be used to identify structural features and refine targets for future drilling operations. The deployment follows the company's August 5, 2025 announcement of crew mobilization for the survey.

This milestone follows the August 5, 2025 announcement of crew mobilization for the survey.
The ANT sensors will remain in place for several weeks, passively recording seismic noise across the project area. Once the recording period is complete, field crews will return to retrieve the sensors and deliver the collected data for processing. The resulting high-resolution subsurface images are anticipated to be used to identify structural features and refine targets for future drilling.
