4 terms
form 10-q regulatory
"The Company expects to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q"
A Form 10-Q is a detailed report that publicly traded companies are required to file with regulators three times a year, providing an update on their financial health and business activities. It is important for investors because it offers timely insights into a company's performance, helping them make informed decisions about buying or selling stocks. Think of it as a regular check-up report that shows how well a company is doing.
rule 12b-25 regulatory
"within the extension period provided by Rule 12b-25"
Rule 12b-25 is an SEC filing provision that lets a company notify regulators and the public that it cannot file a required periodic report (like a quarterly or annual report) on time and explains the reason for the delay. For investors, the notice is a formal heads-up that financial information will arrive late—similar to a company calling to say it will be late turning in homework—so it signals increased uncertainty and may affect trading and risk assessments until the filing is available.
interim financial statements financial
"complete its review of the Company’s interim financial statements"
Interim financial statements are condensed financial reports covering a short period within a fiscal year—commonly a quarter or month—showing a company’s revenue, expenses, cash flow and snapshot of assets and liabilities for that period. They matter to investors because they provide an up-to-date, mid-year scorecard of performance and trends between annual reports, helping spot improving or deteriorating prospects so decisions can be timed appropriately.
restatement financial
"any anticipated restatement of previously issued financial statements"
A restatement is a company’s formal correction of previously released financial reports when errors or omissions are discovered, similar to fixing a report card after finding mistakes in the scores. It matters to investors because it can change past performance figures, alter valuation or earnings trends, and signal weaknesses in accounting controls or management oversight, which may affect confidence and the stock’s perceived risk.

Company Expects to File Form 10-Q on August 19; Earnings Call Rescheduled to August 20, 2026 at 8:30am Eastern Time

EisnerAmper LLP Recently Appointed as Virtuix’s Independent Registered Public Accounting Firm

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 12, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Virtuix Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX) (“Virtuix” or the “Company”), a leading manufacturer of AI-driven, full-body simulation systems, announced today that it has rescheduled the reporting of its first quarter fiscal year 2027 financial results, and the date of its conference call and webcast, to allow the Company’s recently appointed independent registered public accounting firm, EisnerAmper LLP, additional time to complete its review of the Company’s interim financial statements for the quarter.
