Unusual Machines (UMAC) has made an additional $20 million strategic investment in XTEND AI Robotics (XTND), bringing its total investment in XTEND to $27.5 million.
The new capital is part of, and not incremental to, a previously closed $110 million financing completed in connection with XTEND’s business combination and NYSE listing. The investment is presented as aligning with Unusual Machines’ strategy of deploying capital across the U.S. drone and robotics ecosystem into technologies that complement its NDAA-compliant drone component business. XTEND’s CEO highlights Unusual Machines as both a supplier and strategic partner, linking the increased stake to confidence in XTEND’s Physical AI platform and ongoing defense and security programs.
XTEND AI Robotics (XTND) rang the New York Stock Exchange opening bell on September 8, 2026, marking its debut as a public company.
The company develops software-enabled robotic systems and its hardware-agnostic XOS operating system powers more than 12,500 deployed systems across 30+ countries and five active combat zones. XTEND operates sovereign manufacturing sites in the United States, United Kingdom, Israel, Singapore, and Latvia.
The public listing is expected to support expansion of XTEND’s global manufacturing footprint, accelerate product development, and help meet growing demand for its Physical AI platform in defense, law enforcement, and public safety domains.
