Market caps are the share price multiplied by shares outstanding, and a company trading under several share classes appears once. This ranking is informational and is not investment advice.

The comparison uses the live ranking against a rebuilt month-end snapshot dated 2026-06-01, rather than a completed month. Technology’s broad retreat was the main story: Western Digital (WDC), Kla Corp (KLAC), SanDisk Corp (SNDK), Qualcomm Inc (QCOM), Arm Holdings (ARM), Seagate Technology Hldngs Plc (STX), Marvell Technology Inc (MRVL), International Business Machines Corp (IBM), Amphenol Corp (APH), Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT) and Analog Devices (ADI) all fell. WDC fell 39 places to rank 101 from rank 62. KLAC fell 32 places to rank 62 from rank 30.

On the upside, technology gains included Sap Se (SAP), Palantir Technologies Inc (PLTR), Salesforce Com Inc (CRM) and Shopify Inc (SHOP), while healthcare gains included Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (TMO), Abbott Labs (ABT) and Amgen Inc (AMGN). Basic materials also had advances from Rio Tinto (RIO) and Bhp Group Limited (BHP), with Alibaba Group Holding Limited (BABA), Shell (SHEL) and Charles Schwab Corp (the) (SCHW) among the other notable climbers. RIO climbed 32 places to rank 97 from rank 129. SAP climbed 25 places to rank 58 from rank 83. PLTR climbed 21 places to rank 28 from rank 49. CRM climbed 19 places to rank 98 from rank 117.

2 companies entered near the top. SK hynix Inc. (SKHY) entered at rank 12. Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) entered at rank 15. Their appearance above Eli Lilly and Company (LLY), JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) and Morgan Stanley (MS) changed those displayed rank numbers without a company-specific ranking change. At the top, Apple Inc (AAPL) overtook Alphabet Inc (GOOGL) inside the top 10. AAPL holds rank 2. GOOGL holds rank 3.

At the universe boundary, Corning Incorporated (GLW), Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A.B DE C.V (KOF), Applovin Corporation (APP), TJX Companies, Inc. (The) (TJX), Eaton Corporation, plc (ETN) and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc American (SMFG) left the ranking.

Compares today's ranking with the close of June 2026, the most recent month the archive holds, which is 2 months back because the month between them was never archived. Positions here move with live prices, so a difference against that close is not a completed month's result.
