unsecured revolving line of credit financial
"unsecured revolving line of credit facility"
A line of credit that a company can draw from, repay, and draw again up to a set limit, like a business credit card; “revolving” means the borrowing capacity refreshes as principal is repaid. “Unsecured” means the lender has no specific assets pledged as collateral, so the loan relies on the borrower’s creditworthiness and contractual promises. It matters to investors because it affects a company’s short-term liquidity, borrowing costs, and financial flexibility, and can influence leverage and default risk.
accrued interest financial
"all accrued interest under the Facility"
Accrued interest is the amount of interest that has built up on a loan, bond, or similar investment since the last payment date but has not yet been paid. For investors this matters because when you buy or sell a fixed‑income security between payment dates you compensate the other party for that earned interest—think of it like buying a house mid‑month and reimbursing the seller for days of heating already used—so it affects the actual cash you pay, the yield you receive, and short‑term returns.
principal balance financial
"the outstanding principal balance and all accrued interest"
Principal balance is the remaining amount of money still owed on a loan or debt instrument, not including interest or fees. For investors, it determines the size of upcoming cash flows, the amount that must be repaid if the borrower pays off the debt early, and the exposure to default—think of it as the unpaid 'purchase price' of a loan that drives interest income and repayment risk. Understanding principal balance helps investors value bonds, loans, and securitized assets and assess potential returns and losses.
