How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Quarter-end liquidity included $94.4 million of ABL availability, while the capital-expenditure schedule classifies the program mainly as growth spending.

This 8-K reports Atlas' completed third-quarter results. From the second quarter to the third, revenue and Adjusted EBITDA declined while net loss widened.

At September 30, 2026, total liquidity was $116.7 million, comprising $22.3 million in cash and $94.4 million of availability under the ABL facility.

The quarter used $181,136 thousand of net cash in investing activities; the accrual-basis capital-expenditure reconciliation lists $181,887 thousand as growth capex and $4,980 thousand as maintenance capex, classifying the capital program mainly as growth spending.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter of 2026 was $30.3 million"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
Adjusted Free Cash Flow financial
"Adjusted Free Cash Flow for the third quarter of 2026 was $25.3 million"
Adjusted free cash flow is the amount of money a company generates from its operations after accounting for essential expenses and investments, like maintaining or upgrading equipment. It shows how much cash is truly available to grow the business, pay debts, or return to shareholders, helping investors see the company's financial health more clearly.
Cost Reimbursement Agreements financial
"Announced two Cost Reimbursement Agreements"
behind-the-meter technical
"building out our behind-the-meter power business"
Equipment or systems located on a customer’s side of the electricity meter—such as rooftop solar panels, battery storage, electric vehicle chargers, or energy controls—that generate, store, or manage power for use on-site rather than being supplied through the utility’s grid. Investors care because behind-the-meter assets change how much power a customer buys, can create new revenue or savings streams, affect demand patterns, and shift regulatory or business models in the energy market, much like a homeowner installing their own water tank reduces municipal supply needs.
senior secured bridge facility financial
"entered into a $424.0 million senior secured bridge facility"
A senior secured bridge facility is a short-term loan that has first priority for repayment and is backed by the borrower’s assets as collateral. It acts like a temporary financial bridge that keeps a company running or completes a transaction until longer-term funding or a sale is arranged, and it matters to investors because it changes who gets paid first, affects short-term cash risk and interest costs, and can signal urgency about the company’s funding needs.
Revenue $267.8 million from $259.6 million in third quarter 2025
Net loss $45.1 million loss from $23.7 million loss in third quarter 2025
Adjusted EBITDA $30.3 million from $41.6 million in third quarter 2025
Net cash provided by operating activities $23.4 million
Adjusted Free Cash Flow $25.3 million

John Turner, President & CEO, commented, “During the third quarter, we took significant steps in our methodical approach to building out our behind-the-meter power business. Our plan is simple: secure the equipment, sign the contracts, lock in long-term financing, and deliver. Our CRAs with a leading frontier AI lab and our new $424 million bridge facility have significantly reduced the near-term financing and supply chain risk on the equipment for two significant data center projects we are currently negotiating. Our first behind-the-meter project in Socorro, Texas, remains on track to come online at the end of the first quarter of next year, and it shows what Atlas does best: build quickly, operate reliably, and deploy power where it’s needed.

In our sand business, we made a deliberate choice during the quarter to hold the line on pricing rather than chase uneconomic bids. As expected, that reduced our third quarter sales volumes. Our commercial team has since backfilled those volumes for the fourth quarter and, with line of sight to more than 23 million allocated tons for 2027, we expect sequential improvement across all of our business lines during the fourth quarter.”

Non-GAAP Financial Measures

Adjusted EBITDA, Adjusted EBITDA Margin, Adjusted Free Cash Flow, Adjusted Free Cash Flow Margin, Adjusted Free Cash Flow Conversion, Maintenance Capital Expenditures Adjusted Cash SG&A, Adjusted Gross Profit and Adjusted Gross Margin are non-GAAP supplemental financial measures used by our management and by external users of our financial statements such as investors, research analysts and others, in the case of Adjusted EBITDA, to assess our consolidated operating performance on a consistent basis across periods by removing the effects of development activities, provide views on capital resources available to organically fund growth projects and, in the case of Adjusted Free Cash Flow, assess the financial performance of our assets and their ability to sustain dividends or reinvest to organically fund growth projects over the long term without regard to financing methods, capital structure, or historical cost basis.

These measures do not represent and should not be considered alternatives to, or more meaningful than, net income, income from operations, net cash provided by operating activities or any other measure of financial performance presented in accordance with GAAP as measures of our financial performance. Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted Free Cash Flow have important limitations as analytical tools because they exclude some but not all items that affect net income, the most directly comparable GAAP financial measure. Our computation of Adjusted EBITDA, Adjusted EBITDA Margin, Adjusted Free Cash Flow, Adjusted Free Cash Flow Margin, Adjusted Free Cash Flow Conversion, Maintenance Capital Expenditures, Adjusted Cash SG&A, Adjusted Gross Profit, and Adjusted Gross Margin may differ from computations of similarly titled measures of other companies.

Non-GAAP Measure Definitions:

•
We define Adjusted EBITDA as net income before depreciation, depletion and accretion, amortization expense of acquired intangible assets, interest expense, income tax expense, stock and unit-based compensation, loss on extinguishment of debt, loss on disposal of assets, insurance recovery (gain), litigation-related costs, net, unrealized commodity derivative gain (loss), other acquisition related costs, and other non-recurring costs. Management believes Adjusted EBITDA is useful because it allows management to more effectively evaluate the Company’s consolidated operating performance and compare the results of its operations from period to period and against our peers without regard to financing method or capital structure. We exclude the items listed above from net income in arriving at Adjusted EBITDA because these amounts can vary substantially from company to company within our industry depending upon accounting methods and book values of assets, capital structures and the method by which the assets were acquired. Certain prior period litigation-related costs, net and certain non-recurring costs are now included as an add-back to Adjusted EBITDA in order to conform to the current period presentation and to more accurately describe the Company’s consolidated operating performance and results period-over-period.
•
We define Adjusted EBITDA Margin as Adjusted EBITDA divided by total revenue.
•
We define Adjusted Free Cash Flow as Adjusted EBITDA less Maintenance Capital Expenditures. Management believes that Adjusted Free Cash Flow is useful to investors as it provides a measure of the ability of our business to generate cash.
•
We define Adjusted Free Cash Flow Margin as Adjusted Free Cash Flow divided by total revenue.
•
We define Adjusted Free Cash Flow Conversion as Adjusted Free Cash Flow divided by Adjusted EBITDA.
•
We define Maintenance Capital Expenditures as capital expenditures excluding growth capital expenditures, reconstruction of previously incurred growth capital expenditures, equipment assets acquired through debt, and asset retirement obligations. Certain prior period capital expenditures were reclassified to conform to the current period presentation and to more accurately describe the Company’s consolidated operating performance and results period-over-period.
•
We define Adjusted Cash SG&A as selling, general and administrative expenses (“SG&A”) less stock-based compensation, depreciation in SG&A, non-recurring transaction expenses, and certain litigation expenses and insurance proceeds in SG&A.

9

•
We define Adjusted Gross Profit as gross profit (loss) plus depreciation, depletion and accretion expense.
•
We define Adjusted Gross Margin as Adjusted Gross Profit divided by total revenue.
