How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

constant currency methodology financial
"using a constant currency methodology wherein current and comparative prior period results"
Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA margin are non-GAAP financial measures"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
non-GAAP financial measures financial
"includes certain non-GAAP financial measures, including Adjusted EBITDA"
Non-GAAP financial measures are numbers companies use to show their financial performance that exclude certain expenses or income. They help investors see how the company might perform without one-time costs or other unusual items, giving a different perspective from official reports. However, since they can be adjusted, they don’t always tell the full story and should be looked at alongside standard financial figures.
average order value financial
"We define average order value (“AOV”) as net sales in a given period"
Average order value (AOV) is the typical amount a customer spends each time they place an order, calculated by dividing total sales by number of orders over a set period. It matters to investors because it shows how efficiently a company turns customer visits into revenue — higher AOV can boost profits without gaining more customers. Think of it like the average bill per table at a restaurant: increasing that bill raises overall sales even if the number of diners stays the same.
Net sales $161.3 million increased 9.7% year over year
Net loss $7.7 million compared with $5.0 million in the third quarter of 2025
Adjusted EBITDA $8.2 million compared with $7.0 million in the third quarter of 2025

Exhibit 99.1
a.k.a. Brands Holding Corp. Reports Third Quarter 2026 Financial Results
Net Sales Increased 9.7% to $161.3 Million, with U.S. Net Sales Up 14%
Gross Margin Expansion and Continued Progress Across Strategic Priorities
SAN FRANCISCO – November 4, 2026 – a.k.a. Brands Holding Corp. (“a.k.a. Brands” or the “Company”) (NYSE: AKA), a portfolio of next generation fashion brands, today announced financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.
Results for the Third Quarter
•Net sales increased 9.7% to $161.3 million, compared to $147.1 million in the third quarter of 2025, up 7.6% on a constant currency basis1.
•Net loss was $7.7 million, or $(0.70) per share, in the third quarter of 2026, compared to net loss of $5.0 million, or $(0.46) per share, in the third quarter of 2025.
•Adjusted EBITDA2 was $8.2 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $7.0 million in the third quarter of 2025.
“Our third quarter results reflect strong execution against our strategic plan and demonstrate that the structural improvements we have made are driving growth and profitability,” said Ciaran Long, Chief Executive Officer, a.k.a. Brands. “Net sales grew 9.7% and adjusted EBITDA increased nearly 17%, marking our third consecutive quarter of double-digit adjusted EBITDA growth. Additionally, gross margin expanded approximately 100 basis points to 60.1%, led by Culture Kings’ full-price, test-and-repeat model, and we also continued to strengthen our balance sheet, reducing total debt by 8.5% year-over-year.

“The U.S., our largest market, led our performance with net sales up 14%, its first quarter of double-digit growth since we transformed our sourcing network last year. Internationally, Rest of World net sales rose 79%, led by Princess Polly’s growth in the U.K.

“Our brands each advanced their strategic priorities. Princess Polly ended the quarter with 15 U.S. stores and plans to open at least six new U.S. locations in 2027. Petal & Pup has built its strongest distribution pipeline to date, and Culture Kings will bring its immersive retail experience to Puerto Rico this quarter. With our omnichannel presence reaching more customers and a clear set of growth catalysts ahead, we are confident in our strategy and the long-term value creation opportunity for shareholders,” concluded Long.
Third Quarter Financial Details
•Net sales increased 9.7% to $161.3 million, compared to $147.1 million in the third quarter of 2025. The increase was driven by a 12.8% increase in the number of orders. On a constant currency basis1, net sales increased 7.6%.
•Gross margin was 60.1%, compared to 59.1% in the third quarter of 2025. The increase in gross margin was primarily driven by improved full price selling on our streetwear brands, partially offset by higher inbound freight costs.
•Selling expenses were $52.3 million, compared to $43.2 million in the third quarter of 2025. Selling expenses were 32.4% of net sales, compared to 29.4% of net sales in the third quarter of 2025. The increase was primarily driven by $5.3 million in one-time costs for the relocation of our distribution center to Ohio, as well as the increase in net sales.
•Marketing expenses were $21.1 million, compared to $18.5 million in the third quarter of 2025. Marketing expenses were 13.1% of net sales, compared to 12.6% of net sales in the third quarter of 2025.
1 In order to provide a framework for assessing the performance of our underlying business, excluding the effects of foreign currency rate fluctuations, we compare the percent change in the results from one period to another period using a constant currency methodology wherein current and comparative prior period results for our operations reporting in currencies other than U.S. dollars are converted into U.S. dollars at constant exchange rates (i.e., the rates in effect on December 31, 2025, which was the last day of our prior fiscal year) rather than the actual exchange rates in effect during the respective periods.
2 See additional information at the end of this press release regarding non-GAAP financial measures.

These items include, but are not limited to, future equity-based compensation expense, income taxes, interest expense and transaction costs. These items are inherently variable and uncertain and depend on various factors, some of which are outside of the Company’s control or ability to predict. Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures and Other Operating Metrics
In addition to results determined in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP"), this press release includes certain non-GAAP financial measures, including Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA margin. Management utilizes these non-GAAP financial measures for evaluating our ongoing operations, generating future operating plans, making strategic decisions regarding the allocation of capital, and for internal planning and forecasting purposes.
We believe that these non-GAAP financial measures, when reviewed collectively with our GAAP financial information, provide meaningful supplemental information to both management and investors in assessing our operating performance by excluding certain expenses that may not be indicative of our ongoing core operating performance, and in analyzing historical performance and planning, forecasting and analyzing future periods. These non-GAAP measures are in addition to, and not a substitute for or superior to, measures of financial performance prepared in accordance with GAAP, should not be considered in isolation, and the non-GAAP financial measures used by the Company may be different from similarly-titled non-GAAP financial measures used by other companies.
With respect to our forward-looking Adjusted EBITDA guidance, we have not provided a quantitative reconciliation to the most directly comparable forward-looking GAAP measure (net income (loss)) because we are unable, without making unreasonable efforts, to project certain reconciling items. These items include, but are not limited to, future equity-based compensation expense, income taxes, interest expense and transaction costs. These items are inherently variable and uncertain and depend on various factors, some of which are outside of the Company's control or ability to predict, and for this reason we are unable to assess their probable significance.
For a reconciliation of historical non-GAAP financial measures to their most directly comparable GAAP measures, please see the reconciliation tables at the end of this press release. We encourage reviewing this reconciliation in conjunction with the non-GAAP financial measures for each period presented, rather than relying on any single financial measure. In future periods, we may exclude similar items, may incur income and expenses similar to such excluded items, and may include other expenses, costs or non-recurring items in our non-GAAP measures.

Active Customers
We view the number of active customers as a key indicator of our growth, our value proposition and consumer awareness of our brand, and their desire to purchase our products. In any particular period, we determine our number of active customers by counting the total number of unique customer accounts who have made at least one purchase in the preceding 12-month period, measured from the last date of such period.
Average Order Value
We define average order value (“AOV”) as net sales in a given period divided by the total orders placed in that period. AOV may fluctuate as we expand into new categories or geographies or as our assortment changes.
Number of Orders
We define the number of orders as the total number of orders placed by our customers, prior to product returns, across our platform or in our stores in any given period. An order is counted on the day the customer places the order. We consider the number of orders to be a key indicator of our ability to attract and retain customers, as well as an indicator of the desirability of our products.

RECONCILIATION OF NON-GAAP FINANCIAL MEASURES
(in thousands, except per share data)
(unaudited)

Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA Margin
Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA margin are non-GAAP financial measures that management uses to assess our operating performance. Because Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA margin facilitate internal comparisons of our historical operating performance on a more consistent basis, we use these measures for business planning purposes.
We also believe this information will be useful for investors to facilitate comparisons of our operating performance and better identify trends in our business. We expect Adjusted EBITDA margin to increase over the long-term as we continue to scale our business and achieve greater leverage in our operating expenses.
We calculate Adjusted EBITDA as net income (loss) adjusted to exclude: interest and other expense; provision for (benefit from) income taxes; depreciation and amortization expense; equity-based compensation expense; costs to establish or relocate distribution centers; transaction costs; non-routine legal matters; costs related to severance from headcount reductions; goodwill and intangible asset impairment; sales tax penalties; insured losses, net of any recoveries; and one-time or non-recurring items. We calculate Adjusted EBITDA margin as Adjusted EBITDA as a percentage of net sales. Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA margin are considered non-GAAP financial measures under the SEC’s rules because they exclude certain amounts included in net income (loss) and net income (loss) margin, the most directly comparable financial measures calculated in accordance with GAAP.
A reconciliation of non-GAAP Adjusted EBITDA to net loss for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026 and 2025, is as follows:
