FAQ

What did Eletrobras (AXIA) announce in this Form 6-K?

The auction sold 108,961 Class “C” preferred shares (PNC) at an average price of BRL 58.53936145670 per share, net of applicable fees. This transaction monetizes fractional entitlements, turning small non-tradable share fractions into cash for affected shareholders.

Shareholders who held fractional entitlements to Class “C” preferred shares resulting from the December 19, 2025 bonus issue will receive proceeds. The cash will be allocated in proportion to each investor’s fractional position, ensuring fair treatment according to their original shareholdings.

When will Eletrobras shareholders have access to the auction proceeds?

Why did Eletrobras conduct an auction of fractional Class “C” preferred shares?

The auction was conducted to handle fractional Class “C” preferred shares created by a previous bonus issue. Grouping and selling these fractions on B3 converts tiny, illiquid holdings into cash, simplifying the shareholder base and delivering proportional monetary compensation to affected investors.
