How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, was $77.6 million"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
Adjusted gross profit margin financial
"adjusted gross profit margin was 48.7%"
Adjusted gross profit margin shows how much money a company keeps from sales after subtracting the direct costs of making its products or services, but it removes one-time or unusual charges to show the underlying performance. Think of it as the profit rate of a lemonade stand after paying for ingredients, but with a one-off broken juicer or a special sale taken out so you can see how the stand normally performs; investors use it to compare profitability without distortions.
Free cash flow from continuing operations financial
"Free cash flow from continuing operations (1)"
A measure of the cash a company’s ongoing core business actually produces after paying its operating bills and replacing or maintaining the equipment and property needed to keep running, excluding any cash tied to businesses it has sold or shut down. Investors use it to judge how much real, reusable cash the company has to pay debts, buy back stock, pay dividends or invest in growth — like the money left in a household account after bills and necessary repairs.
redeemable non-controlling interest financial
"The redeemable non-controlling interest was settled during the second quarter of 2026."
A redeemable non-controlling interest is a minority ownership stake in a subsidiary that can be sold back to or bought out by the parent company or subsidiary at a predetermined time or under certain conditions. For investors, it matters because this claim can act like a future cash obligation or potential dilution, changing the parent’s reported equity, net income allocation, and near‑term cash needs—much like a few partners in a small business who can force the owner to buy them out.
Net revenue $352.7 million Up 10.9% year over year.
Gross profit margin 48.3% Down 220 basis points year over year.
Adjusted EBITDA $77.6 million Compared with $71.7 million in Q3 2025.
Adjusted EBITDA margin 22.0% Down 56 basis points year over year.
Net loss from continuing operations attributable to Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. $37.4 million loss
Guidance

Curaleaf continues to target generating approximately $150 million in operating cash flow for the year.

Curaleaf Reports Third Quarter 2026 Results: Record Revenue and Robust Profitability
Third quarter 2026 net revenue of $353 million
Third quarter 2026 International revenue of $59 million
Third quarter 2026 adjusted gross profit margin of 49%
Third quarter adjusted EBITDA of $78 million

Stamford, Conn., November 03, 2026 – Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. (TSX: CURA) (OTCQX: CURLF) (“Curaleaf” or the “Company”), a leading international provider of consumer and medical cannabis products, today reported its financial and operating results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026. All financial information is reported in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (“U.S. GAAP” or “GAAP”) and is provided in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Chairman and CEO Boris Jordan said, “We are building the global leader in cannabis, and our third-quarter results provide further evidence that our strategy is delivering. Solid execution across the business is driving growth, strengthening our competitive position, and advancing our Built for Growth plan. Against a backdrop of increasing pressure on the consumer, cannabis demand remained resilient and our business delivered strong, broad-based growth.

Record third quarter revenue of $353 million grew 11% compared to last year, bolstered by both our domestic and international segments that grew 8% and 28%, respectively. Our U.S. business has sustained the momentum experienced in the first half of the year as this was our third consecutive quarter of domestic year-over-year growth. Adjusted gross margin was 49% and adjusted EBITDA was $78 million, representing a 22% margin. We ended the quarter with $105 million in cash on the balance sheet. Cash flow from continuing operations in the quarter was $22 million, due to timing differences that will reverse next quarter. We continue to target generating approximately $150 million in operating cash flow for the year.”

Mr. Jordan continued, “These results reflect the disciplined execution of our entire team and reinforce the strength of our global platform. We are translating operational improvements into stronger financial performance, building momentum across the business, and positioning Curaleaf for sustained growth and greater cash generation.”

Non-GAAP Financial and Performance Measures
Curaleaf reports its financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP and also uses certain non-GAAP financial measures and ratios to evaluate performance. These measures, which include “adjusted gross profit,” “adjusted gross profit margin,” “adjusted EBITDA,” “adjusted EBITDA margin,” and “free cash flow from operations,” do not have standardized definitions under U.S. GAAP and may not be comparable to similar measures used by other issuers.
Curaleaf defines these non-GAAP measures as follows:
•Adjusted gross profit: gross profit net of related adjustments.
•Adjusted gross profit margin: adjusted gross profit divided by total revenues, net.
•Adjusted EBITDA: income (loss) before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, adjusted for share-based compensation expense and other adjustments related to restructuring costs, adult use campaign and political initiatives, as well as acquisition, transaction and other non-recurring costs.
•Adjusted EBITDA margin: adjusted EBITDA divided by total revenues, net.
•Free cash flow from operations: net cash provided by operating activities from continuing operations, net of purchases and disposals of property, plant and equipment for continuing operations.
Management believes these measures (i) provide investors with additional insight into Curaleaf’s financial strength and underlying performance, (ii) align external reporting with how management evaluates results and (iii) facilitate comparisons with other issuers. These measures should not be considered in isolation from, or as a substitute for, U.S. GAAP results nor should they be considered as indicators of Curaleaf’s future performance. Reconciliations to the most directly comparable U.S. GAAP measures are provided in the accompanying tables.

(1) Certain non-controlling interests are redeemable at the option of the holders. Amounts recognized as accretion of redeemable non-controlling interests are recorded directly to shareholders' equity and reduce income available to subordinate voting shareholders in the calculation of earnings per share. The redeemable non-controlling interest was settled during the second quarter of 2026. The excess redemption value included in the EPS calculation for the nine months ended September 30, 2026 relates to accretion recognized through the settlement date.
(2) As a result of the Company’s net loss for the three months ended September 30, 2026 and the three and nine months ended September 30, 2025, all potentially dilutive securities were excluded from the calculation of diluted net loss per share because their effect would have been anti-dilutive. Accordingly, basic and diluted net loss per share are the same for each period presented.
