As a result, the U.S. federal income tax consequences of your investment in your notes are uncertain. It is the opinion of Sidley Austin LLP that the characterization of the notes for U.S. federal income tax purposes that will be required under the terms of the notes, as discussed below, is a reasonable interpretation of current law. |
