microfluidics technical
"Microfluidics technology tools provider"
Microfluidics is the technology that moves and controls tiny amounts of liquids through miniature channels on a chip—think of a very small plumbing system for samples and chemicals. It matters to investors because it can make medical tests, drug development, and manufacturing faster, cheaper and easier to scale, creating products or production steps that can win market share or cut costs across healthcare and biotech industries.
high-throughput technical
"high-throughput and multi-assay genomics systems"
High-throughput describes methods, instruments, or workflows designed to process, test or analyze very large numbers of samples or data points quickly and often automatically. For investors, it matters because higher throughput can cut the time and cost to develop products, scale operations, and generate results that drive regulatory approvals or sales—think of it like switching from one checkout lane to an automated bank of many lanes that serve customers much faster.
multi-assay technical
"high-throughput and multi-assay genomics systems"
integrated fluidic circuits (IFCs) technical
"using patented integrated fluidic circuits (IFCs)"
Integrated fluidic circuits (IFCs) are small laboratory-on-a-chip devices that embed channels, valves, pumps and reaction chambers on a single microfabricated chip to move, mix and analyze tiny volumes of liquids. They perform the mechanical steps of biochemical assays—sample routing, reagent metering, incubation and sometimes detection—by controlling fluids with micro-scale structures and on-chip actuators, so multiple reactions run automatically in parallel using far less sample and reagent than conventional lab equipment. Because they are a physical platform, an IFC must be paired with compatible instrumentation and is typically a disposable or validated consumable in regulated diagnostic or research workflows.
NGS library prep technical
"automated PCR, qPCR and NGS library prep system"
