Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Steakholder Foods Ltd. announced a planned ADS ratio adjustment effective November 9, 2026, changing the ratio from one ADS representing 12,000 ordinary shares to one ADS representing 60,000 ordinary shares. The company describes the change as a one-for-five reverse ADS split.

Current ADS ratio 1 ADS represents 12,000 ordinary shares Current ratio before the adjustment
New ADS ratio 1 ADS represents 60,000 ordinary shares Effective November 9, 2026

American Depositary Shares (ADSs) financial
"ratio of the company’s American Depositary Shares (ADSs)"
A U.S.-listed certificate that stands for a specific number of shares in a non‑U.S. company held by a U.S. bank, making the foreign stock tradable on American exchanges in dollars. Think of it like a local voucher that represents ownership of an overseas product — it lets U.S. investors buy and sell foreign companies without handling foreign currency or foreign brokerage accounts, but it can affect dividends, voting rights, fees, liquidity and exposure to currency and regulatory differences.
reverse ADS split financial
"a one-for-five reverse ADS split for ADS holders"
A reverse ADS split is a corporate action that combines multiple American Depositary Shares (ADS) into a smaller number of ADS, so each new ADS represents more underlying ordinary shares and the price per ADS rises proportionally. Think of merging several small coins into one bigger coin: your total value stays the same, but the share count and per‑share price change, which can affect trading liquidity, index inclusion, and investor perception of the stock.
depositary bank financial
"serving as the depositary bank for Steakholder Foods’ ADS program"
A depositary bank is a financial institution that holds and safeguards a company's or investor’s securities, such as stocks or bonds, in a secure account. It acts like a digital safe, ensuring that ownership records are accurate and that transactions are processed smoothly. For investors, it provides confidence that their investments are protected and correctly recorded, making buying, selling, or transferring securities reliable and efficient.
fractional shares financial
"Any fractional shares resulting from the adjustment"
Fractional shares are portions of a whole share of a stock or fund, allowing investors to own less than one full unit. They make it possible to invest a specific dollar amount rather than buy whole shares, like buying a slice of a pizza instead of the entire pie. For investors this lowers the cost barrier, helps with diversification, and lets you reinvest dividends or purchase expensive stocks in small, precise amounts.
