Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Oracle Corporation (ORCL) updated its medium-term financial guidance at its 2026 Investor Day, expecting total revenue growth of more than 35% CAGR from FY26 through FY30 and total revenue of $225 billion or more in FY30. Oracle reaffirmed its FY27 outlook for total revenue of at least $90 billion and non-GAAP earnings per share of $8.10.

After capital expenditures peak in FY27–FY28, Oracle expects them to step down in FY29, supporting positive free cash flow of at least $30 billion in FY29. The company committed to limiting additional capital-markets funding for its FY27–FY30 investment cycle to $20 billion, currently expected to consist of $10 billion in equity and $10 billion in gross debt. This is in addition to a $20 billion at-the-market equity raise completed in the first quarter of fiscal 2027. Vendor financing, customer-provided hardware and customer prepayments are expected to reduce upfront cash requirements during the transition to positive free cash flow.

Non-GAAP earnings per share outlook $8.10 FY27
CAGR financial
"more than 35% CAGR from FY26 through FY30"
Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) measures the average yearly growth of an investment, revenue, or other metric over a multi-year period as if it had grown at a steady rate each year. Think of it like the constant speed that would take you from the starting value to the ending value over the same time—useful because it smooths out ups and downs and lets investors compare different assets or performance periods on an even footing.
free cash flow financial
"positive free cash flow of at least $30 billion in FY29"
Free cash flow is the amount of money a company has left over after paying all its expenses and investing in its business, like buying equipment or updating facilities. It shows how much cash is available to reward shareholders, pay down debt, or save for future growth. This helps investors understand if a company is financially healthy and able to grow.
at-the-market financial
"at-the-market equity raise completed in the first quarter of fiscal 2027"
"At-the-market" is a method for companies to sell new shares of stock directly into the open market over time, rather than all at once. It allows companies to raise money gradually, similar to selling slices of a pie instead of the entire pie at once, which can help manage the sale's impact on the stock price. This approach gives investors a steady supply of shares while providing companies with flexible funding options.
vendor financing financial
"Vendor financing, customer-provided hardware and customer prepayments"
Vendor financing is when a seller loans money or lets a buyer pay over time so the buyer can purchase the seller’s goods or services, like a store offering you a payment plan instead of requiring full cash up front. For investors, it matters because it can boost sales and help win customers but also shifts credit risk to the seller and can affect reported revenue, cash flow and the quality of the company’s assets on the balance sheet.
non-GAAP earnings per share financial
"non-GAAP earnings per share of $8.10"
Non-GAAP earnings per share is a company’s reported profit per share after removing certain items that management considers one-time, unusual, or not part of regular operations, such as restructuring costs, stock-based compensation, or asset write-downs. Investors use it like an “adjusted score” to see what management believes is the company’s ongoing, core profitability, but because the adjustments vary between firms it should be compared carefully across companies.

LOGO

At its Investor Day, Oracle described how its unique portfolio positioning across cloud infrastructure, database and applications is expected to drive total revenue growth of more than 35% CAGR from FY26 through FY30, reaching total revenue of $225 billion or more in FY30. It also outlined its expectations for strong profitability and free cash flow generation from each of its three business models. Following a period of peak capex in FY27-FY28, capital expenditures are expected to step-down in FY29, supporting positive free cash flow of at least $30 billion in FY29.

Oracle committed to limiting additional funding to be raised in the capital markets for its FY27-FY30 investment cycle to $20 billion, currently expected to be $10 billion in equity and $10 billion in gross debt. This incremental funding requirement excludes refinancing of existing debt. This is in addition to the $20 billion at-the-market equity raise completed in the first quarter of fiscal 2027. Vendor financing, customer-provided hardware and customer prepayments are expected to reduce upfront cash requirements through the transition to positive free cash flow.

Oracle reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 outlook for total revenue of at least $90 billion and non-GAAP earnings per share of $8.10. The company’s capital allocation priorities remain maintaining investment-grade credit ratings, paying a dividend and funding growth opportunities.

The Investor Day presentations and webcast replay will be available on the Oracle Investor Day website.

1. Net debt includes borrowings, vendor financing, and operating and finance lease liabilities, less cash and marketable securities. Adjusted EBITDA is based on Oracle’s reported non-GAAP results, with depreciation and operating lease expense added back.
