How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA was $163 million"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
Net Debt to Trailing Twelve Months Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Net Debt to Trailing Twelve Months Adjusted EBITDA was 2.2x"
A leverage ratio that divides a company’s net debt (total debt minus cash and cash equivalents) by its trailing twelve months (TTM) adjusted EBITDA, where adjusted EBITDA is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization with one-time or non-recurring items removed. It shows how many years or periods of current operating cash-generation, after removing unusual items, would be needed to pay off net debt — like comparing remaining mortgage balance to a household’s last year of take-home pay.
cash-free, debt-free basis financial
"for $110 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis"
A cash-free, debt-free basis is a way of pricing a business where the sale excludes the company’s cash balances and outstanding debt, so the buyer pays only for the operating assets and liabilities that run the business. Think of it like buying a shop’s shelves and stock but not its cash in the register or its loans; this clarity matters to investors because it shows the true purchase price, makes deal comparisons fair, and clarifies what financing or adjustments are needed after the sale.
Non-Retail Revenues financial
"Non-Retail Revenues consist of aluminum sales"
Net revenues $944 million Compared with $931 million in the third quarter of 2025
Net income $58 million Compared with $79 million in the third quarter of 2025
Adjusted Net Income $83 million Compared with $88 million in the third quarter of 2025

LAKE FOREST, Ill., November 4, 2026 – (BUSINESSWIRE) – Reynolds Consumer Products Inc. (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: REYN) today reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

“We delivered a solid third quarter in a volatile operating environment, acting decisively to address significant commodity inflation and delivering earnings in-line with our guidance,” said Scott Huckins, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We made further progress on our productivity initiatives, allowing us to continue investing behind our brands, innovation and other strategic initiatives. Disciplined execution remains critical as we navigate the balance of the year, and we remain focused on delivering against our full-year 2026 outlook and establishing a strong foundation for future growth.”

Third Quarter 2026 Highlights
•Net Revenues of $944 million compared to $931 million in Q3 2025
◦Retail Net Revenues of $865 million compared to $864 million in Q3 2025
◦Non-Retail Net Revenues1 of $79 million compared to $67 million in Q3 2025
•Net Income of $58 million compared to $79 million in Q3 2025, and Adjusted Net Income of $83 million compared to $88 million in Q3 2025
•Adjusted EBITDA of $163 million compared to $168 million in Q3 2025
•Earnings Per Share of $0.28 compared to $0.38 in Q3 2025, and Adjusted Earnings Per Share of $0.39 vs. $0.42 in Q3 2025
Net Income decreased to $58 million from $79 million in Q3 2025. Adjusted Net Income, which excludes certain items affecting comparability in each period as shown in the reconciliation tables at the end of this release, was $83 million, at the high end of our outlook, and compares to $88 million in the third quarter of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA decreased $5 million to $163 million compared to the prior year period, primarily driven by the impact of 7% lower retail volumes and increased SG&A costs, as we continue to reinvest in the business.

Third Quarter Key Business Segment Results
As outlined in our first quarter earnings release, effective January 1, the Company realigned its former Hefty Waste & Storage and Presto Products operating segments to enhance efficiency, sharpen its innovation focus, and better support future expansion into adjacent categories. These changes did not impact previously reported consolidated results. All prior periods are recast to conform with current year presentation.

Reynolds Cooking & Kitchen Essentials
•Net Revenues increased $29 million, or 9%, to $337 million, reflecting increases in both Retail and Non-retail Revenues, and included an 18% price increase to recover input cost increases.
•Adjusted EBITDA decreased $4 million to $49 million, as pricing actions fully offset higher input costs, but lower volumes resulted in the year-over-year decline.

Hefty® Waste & Clean-Up
•Net Revenues increased $4 million to $248 million and included a 5% price increase to recover input cost increases.
•Adjusted EBITDA increased $4 million to $76 million, due to productivity gains across the supply chain.

Hefty® Home & Tableware
•Net Revenues decreased $14 million to $186 million, due to the impact of lower volumes driven by elasticities and continued foam declines.
•Adjusted EBITDA decreased $4 million to $25 million, primarily due to the impact of lower volumes.

Hefty® Storage & Organization
•Net Revenues decreased $8 million to $172 million, reflecting volume timing after strong Q2 promotions.
•Adjusted EBITDA decreased $6 million to $30 million, driven primarily by the impact of lower volumes.
Year to Date 2026 Highlights
•Net Revenues of $2,765 million compared to $2,687 million in the comparable prior year period
◦Retail Net Revenues of $2,556 million compared to $2,517 million in the comparable prior year period
◦Non-Retail Net Revenues of $209 million compared to $170 million in the comparable prior year period
•Net Income of $206 million compared to $184 million in the comparable prior year period, and Adjusted Net Income of $231 million compared to $220 million in the comparable prior year period
•Adjusted EBITDA of $464 million compared to $447 million in the comparable prior year period
•Earnings Per Share of $0.97 compared to $0.87 in the comparable prior year period, and Adjusted Earnings Per Share of $1.09 vs. $1.05 in the comparable prior year period

For the first nine months of 2026, Net Income increased to $206 million from $184 million in the comparable period of 2025. Adjusted Net Income, which excludes certain items affecting comparability in each period as shown in the reconciliation tables at the end of this release, was $231 million compared to Adjusted Net Income of $220 million in the comparable period of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA was $464 million compared to $447 million in the comparable period of 2025, primarily attributable to lower operational costs and the timing of pricing actions in relation to input cost increases, partially offset by the impact of 3% lower retail volumes and higher SG&A costs, as we continue to reinvest across the business.

Owl’s Head Alloys Acquisition
Subsequent to quarter end, we completed the acquisition of Owl’s Head Alloys ("OHA") for $110 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis, subject to customary post-closing adjustments. The acquisition was paid for in cash provided by borrowings under our Revolving Credit Facility. OHA adds specialized aluminum processing capabilities that complement our manufacturing network and expands our vertically integrated capabilities.

Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Highlights
Cash and cash equivalents were $25 million at September 30, 2026 and debt was $1,531 million, resulting in Net Debt of $1,506 million. Net Debt to Trailing Twelve Months Adjusted EBITDA1 was 2.2x on September 30, 2026 and at the lower end of the Company’s target leverage range.

“Through the first nine months of the year, we have grown Adjusted EBITDA to $464 million, improving our profitability through strong productivity gains,” said Nathan Lowe, Chief Financial Officer. “With leverage at the low end of our target range, we are well positioned to continue investing across the business to strengthen our capabilities and extend our competitive position, while supporting long-term cash generation and returns to shareholders.”

1Net Debt is defined as current portion of long-term debt plus long-term debt less cash and cash equivalents. Net Debt Leverage is defined as Net Debt divided by Trailing Twelve Months Adjusted EBITDA. See “Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures” for additional information.

Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures
We use non-GAAP financial measures “Adjusted EBITDA,” “Adjusted Net Income,” “Adjusted Earnings Per Share,” “Net Debt,” and “Net Debt to Trailing Twelve Months Adjusted EBITDA” in evaluating our past results and future prospects. We define Adjusted EBITDA as net income calculated in accordance with GAAP, adjusted for certain items described in the reconciliation tables such as income tax expense, net interest expense, depreciation and amortization and certain unusual items that we do not consider representative of our ongoing operating performance. We define Adjusted Net Income and Adjusted Earnings Per Share (“Adjusted EPS”) as Net Income and Earnings Per Share (“EPS”) calculated in accordance with GAAP, adjusted for certain unusual items that we do not consider representative of our ongoing operating performance. We define Net Debt as the current portion of long-term debt plus long-term debt less cash and cash equivalents. We define Net Debt to Trailing Twelve Months Adjusted EBITDA as Net Debt (as defined above) as of the end of the period to Adjusted EBITDA (as defined above) for the period.
We present Adjusted EBITDA because it is a key measure used by our management team to evaluate our operating performance, generate future operating plans and make strategic decisions. In addition, our chief operating decision maker uses Adjusted EBITDA of each reportable segment to evaluate the operating performance of such segments. We use Adjusted Net Income and Adjusted EPS as supplemental measures to evaluate our business’ performance in a way that also considers our ability to generate profit without the impact of certain items. We use Net Debt as we believe it is a more representative measure of our liquidity. We use Net Debt to Trailing Twelve Months Adjusted EBITDA because it reflects our ability to service our debt obligations. Accordingly, we believe presenting these measures provide useful information to investors and others in understanding and evaluating our operating results in the same manner as our management team and board of directors.
Non-GAAP information should be considered as supplemental in nature and is not meant to be considered in isolation or as a substitute for the related financial information prepared in accordance with GAAP. In addition, our non-GAAP financial measures may not be the same as or comparable to similar non-GAAP financial measures presented by other companies.

Guidance for fiscal year and fourth quarter 2026, where adjusted, is provided on a non-GAAP basis. Please see reconciliations of non-GAAP measures used in this release to the most directly comparable GAAP measures, beginning on the following page.
