Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Silvercorp Metals Inc. issued a corrected El Domo project update, setting the construction budget at $298.2 million, a net increase of $14.6 million from the $283.6 million estimate disclosed February 4, 2026. Total actual expenditures as of September 30, 2026 were $90.9 million; the total remaining budget is $207.3 million.

El Domo’s completion is currently expected to be delayed by four months because of extended rainfall at the site, and production is now targeted for November 2027, subject to weather conditions and contractor performance. Silvercorp cautions that production may not commence when targeted.

Powerline construction has been delayed pending additional reviews and approvals from CNEL; only construction of the on-site substation has begun. Ten generator sets have been manufactured and are ready to ship to the site. Longer reliance on them if powerline delays continue may increase operating costs.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

A value added tax (VAT) is a consumption tax added to the sale price of goods and services and collected by businesses on behalf of the government. Think of it like a toll charged at each step of making and selling a product: businesses collect the tax from customers, pass it on to the tax authority, and may offset what they paid on purchases. VAT matters to investors because it affects a company’s pricing, cash flow, reported sales and expenses, profit margins, and compliance costs, and can influence competitiveness in different markets.

/C O R R E C T I O N - Silvercorp Metals Inc./

In the news release, Silvercorp Announces Project Update for El Domo, issued 03-Nov-2026 by Silvercorp Metals Inc. over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that changes have been made. The complete, corrected release follows, with additional details at the end:

Silvercorp Announces Project Update for El Domo

VANCOUVER, BC, Nov. 3, 2026 /CNW/ -- Silvercorp Metals Inc. ("Silvercorp" or the "Company") (TSX/NYSE American: SVM) is providing minor corrections to yesterday's press release. The corrections are mainly related to announces an update for its budget and construction schedule for the construction of the El Domo Project (the "Project").

The construction budget for the Project has been updated to $298.2 million, a net increase of $14.6 million compared to the $283.6 million estimate disclosed by the Company on February 4, 2026 (for reference, the 2021 Feasibility Study Budget was $248 million). The main items of increase or decrease are as follows:

1.Diesel fuel adjustment: Ecuador eliminated diesel subsidies, resulting in, together with other factors, the diesel price increasing from under $3/gallon in December 2024 to $5.64/gallon in October 2026, an increase of $2.7/gallon. As a result, the fuel adjustment for Package #1 is $3.6 million and for Package #2 is $4.7 million, totaling $8.3 million for remaining construction.
2.Enhancement work for Water Management Related Infrastructure: Due to heavy rainfall experienced at the Project, additional work to upgrade the designs and enhance the construction for reinforcement results in an increase of $3.5 million, plus site cleaning costs of $1.2 million, for a $4.7 million budget addition. This is added to the Package #1 TSF budget.
3.Equipment and Facilities for Site Power Supply: $2.4 million increase mainly due to the additional demand for the power cables and power distribution facilities based on the detailed engineering design.
4.Construction on Processing Plant: $3.7 million increase following execution of the Package #3 construction contract, reflecting further refinement of the quantities and unit rates in the contract bill of quantities.
5.New Items:
1.Two cofferdams and pipes beneath the TSF Starter Dam to drain the water from the impoundment area during the Construction Period, plus cemented roadside ditches are required to divert water from the construction site, at a cost of nearly $2 million. This is added to the Package #1 TSF budget.
2.Two new Reactive Power Compensators (SVG)  are estimated at $2 million plus other power supply related items of $1.3 million, for a total increase of $3.3 million.
6.Offsetting budget reductions of $9.8 million were mainly achieved through, among other things: (i) using rocks from the process plant site preparation for haul road construction instead of purchasing replacement materials for $1.8 million; (ii) eliminating the West Non-contact Water Channel for $1.5 million, as the explosives magazine site has effectively diverted surface water, (iii) reducing the permanent camp size for $0.7 million as the Construction Camp currently in use is satisfactory for long-term use, and (iv) reducing of contingency for $2.7 million. The reduction in contingency is not a direct cost saving, but a reduction in the Company's allowance for future cost increases, of which $14.3 million remains.

Due to the extended rainfall experienced at site caused by Super El Nino, the El Domo completion date is currently expected to be delayed by four months. The Company is now targeting production at El Domo in November 2027, subject to, among other things, weather conditions, and contractor performance. There can be no assurance that production will commence when targeted.

Construction of the Powerline has been delayed as more reviews and approvals have been required from CNEL. Only construction of a Substation at the El Domo site has commenced. Meanwhile, 10 gen-sets of 17 MW capacity have been manufactured and are ready to be shipped to site as an independent power supply. Continued delays in the construction of the Powerline would require that the Project rely on the gen-sets for longer, which may increase operating costs.
