Virax Biolabs Group Limited reported that its wholly owned UK subsidiary has signed an exclusive multi-country commercial supply agreement with Fosun Diagnostics for its ImmuneSelect research-use immune profiling product line. The deal initially covers six Southeast Asian markets: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia.

The agreement allows immediate product supply under purchase orders, creating near-term commercial opportunities and a framework for phased expansion into additional products, higher-volume supply and potential OEM or private-label arrangements. Markets covered 6 markets Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia
Fosun Pharma 2025 revenue RMB41.662 billion Approximately US$5.8 billion in 2025
Fosun Pharma revenue (USD equivalent) US$5.8 billion Approximate 2025 revenue for Fosun Pharma
research-use-only financial
"ImmuneSelect is Virax's commercially available research-use-only (“RUO”) immune profiling product line"
Products labeled “research-use-only” are tools, tests, or reagents sold for laboratory experiments and scientific study, not approved for diagnosing, treating, or making clinical decisions about patients. For investors, the label matters because it limits where and how a product can be sold, keeps regulatory burdens lower but also narrows market size and revenue potential until the product is validated and approved for clinical or commercial use — like a prototype that can’t yet be sold in stores.
ELISpot assay plates technical
"ImmuneSelect immune profiling products, including ELISpot assay plates used to measure cellular immune responses"
OEM financial
"higher-volume supply arrangements, and potential OEM or private-label arrangements"
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, which is a company that produces parts or components used in the final products made by other companies. For investors, understanding OEMs is important because their performance can impact the supply chain and overall success of major industries, especially those relying on specialized parts. Think of OEMs as the suppliers that provide the building blocks for larger products, like the engine parts for a car.
post-acute infection syndromes medical
"with an initial strategic focus on post-acute infection syndromes, including Long COVID"
Post-acute infection syndromes are conditions where people continue to experience symptoms or develop new health problems weeks or months after an initial infection has cleared. Like an echo after a loud noise, these lingering effects can include fatigue, cognitive problems, and organ-specific issues, and they matter to investors because they can drive long-term demand for medical care, therapies, diagnostics, disability claims and workforce impacts that affect company costs and market opportunities.
forward-looking statements regulatory
"This press release contains forward-looking statements"
Forward-looking statements are predictions or plans that companies share about what they expect to happen in the future, like estimating sales or profits. They matter because they help investors understand a company's outlook, but since they are based on guesses and assumptions, they can sometimes be wrong.
