About HILS

Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services · NASDAQ

Hillstream BioPharma Inc. (HILS) was a Nasdaq-listed biotechnology issuer that developed therapeutic candidates before changing its corporate name to Tharimmune, Inc. and adopting the ticker symbol THAR. The company announced that the name and ticker change became effective on The Nasdaq Capital Market on September 25, 2023, marking a shift from the Hillstream BioPharma identity to a clinical-development organization operating under the Tharimmune name.

Under the Hillstream BioPharma name, the company described its biotechnology work around rare immune, inflammatory and oncologic diseases, including therapeutic candidates for drug-resistant and aggressive cancers. Its oncology-related materials referenced ferroptosis, immuno-oncology targeted biologics, and proprietary tumor-targeting approaches. The company identified Quatramer as a tumor targeting platform intended to extend duration of action and reduce off-target toxicity across modalities such as biologics, mRNA, peptides and other therapeutic formats. It also described Quatrabody conjugates and programs involving immuno-oncology targets.

Hillstream's historical oncology pipeline included HSB-3215, described as a HER2/HER3 bispecific antibody program for solid tumors. The company also announced license and collaboration expansions involving Minotaur Therapeutics and OmniAb to advance next-generation targeted Knob biologics, including Picobodies, against HER3 and another oncology target. Additional technology licensing covered anti-HER2 and anti-HER3 antibody formats for drug-resistant breast, lung, gastric and ovarian cancers, including potential use in antibody-drug conjugates, bi-specific and tri-specific antibodies, CAR-T and CAR-NK formats.

After the corporate transition, Tharimmune described itself as a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on inflammation, immunology and other critical unmet medical needs. A central program in that repositioning is TH104, a clinical-stage asset for chronic pruritis. Company materials describe TH104 as a proprietary transdermal buccal film that adheres to the inside of the mouth and is designed around mechanisms involving the mu-opioid receptor, kappa opioid receptor and IL-17 inflammatory cytokine expression. The program has been discussed in connection with chronic pruritis associated with primary biliary cholangitis and other inflammatory or liver-related conditions.

The HILS symbol therefore represents the former Hillstream BioPharma public-company identity. The company's public profile moved from oncology-focused biotechnology programs under Hillstream to the Tharimmune identity, where disclosed development activity centers on clinical-stage therapeutic candidates in inflammation, immunology and chronic pruritis.
