Lifeway's expansion is becoming capital-intensive: operating cash funds growth, but a major capex cycle pushes free cash flow negative.
The key shift is cash conversion quality: in FY2025, operating cash flow was$10.9M against net income of$13.9M , so reported profit did not fully translate into cash. Because capital expenditures reached$27.4M , free cash flow became-$16.4M ; the cash shortfall was investment-led rather than caused by weaker reported earnings.
