8 terms
ai infrastructure network technical
"a future technology platform driven by two core engines: an “AI infrastructure network”"
A network of hardware, software and data pipelines that together power the development, training and deployment of artificial intelligence — like a highway system that moves raw materials, factories and finished goods so AI models can be built and used. Investors care because this underlying system determines how fast and cheaply AI services can scale, how secure and reliable they are, and which firms can profit from AI applications or face extra costs to compete.
ai application services matrix technical
"two core engines: an “AI infrastructure network” and an “AI application services matrix.”"
An AI application services matrix is a simple grid that maps types of AI-powered applications (what the software does) against the services or components that support them (how they are built, run, and sold). Think of it like a restaurant menu crossed with a kitchen blueprint: it shows which dishes a business offers, the ingredients and tools needed, and where costs or gaps may lie. For investors, the matrix reveals a company’s product breadth, technical strengths, potential revenue streams, and areas of concentration or risk.
silicon photonics technical
"including silicon photonics-enabled compute, cross-border fiber-optic network transmission"
Silicon photonics is the technology that uses tiny structures etched into silicon chips to generate, control and detect light for moving data and sensing, essentially putting optical fiber functions onto a computer chip. For investors, it matters because it can dramatically increase data speed and energy efficiency in data centers, telecom networks and advanced sensors, potentially lowering costs and enabling new products much like replacing many metal wires with faster, low-power optical highways.
submarine cable connectivity technical
"cross-border fiber-optic network transmission, submarine cable connectivity, digital infrastructure"
Submarine cable connectivity is the network of fiber‑optic cables laid along the ocean floor that carry the bulk of international internet, voice and data traffic between continents and countries. For investors, the quality and capacity of these underwater “highways” affects how reliably businesses, cloud services and telecom carriers can operate, influencing revenue potential, growth prospects and the risk of outages or bottlenecks.
web 3.0 technical
"emerging digital asset sectors, including Web 3.0, real-world assets (RWA), cryptocurrency"
An evolution of the internet that emphasizes decentralized control, user ownership of data, and built-in digital money and contracts, often using blockchain technologies. For investors it matters because it can change who captures value online — shifting revenue and control from large platforms to new types of services, communities, or digital assets — similar to how streaming reshaped TV companies and created new winners and losers.
real-world assets (rwa) financial
"emerging digital asset sectors, including Web 3.0, real-world assets (RWA), cryptocurrency"
Real-world assets (RWA) are physical or traditional financial items—such as real estate, bonds, commodities, or invoices—that are represented or linked to digital tokens or contracts. For investors, RWAs matter because they bring tangible value into digital markets, making it easier to buy, sell or finance real holdings, increase liquidity, and broaden access; think of converting a house into many small, tradable pieces so more people can invest and price discovery improves.
blockchain technologies technical
"real-world assets (RWA), cryptocurrency, and blockchain technologies, where he has established"
Blockchain technologies are systems that keep a shared, secure digital record of transactions across many computers so entries cannot be changed without everyone noticing; think of it as a shared spreadsheet stored and checked by many independent users. For investors, blockchains matter because they can lower costs, speed transactions, reduce fraud, and enable new products or revenue models, while also introducing technical, regulatory, and adoption risks that can affect a company’s value.
gmv financial
"Beauty Diary achieved approximately RMB 2.0 billion in GMV in 2021"
Gross merchandise value (GMV) is the total dollar value of all goods and services sold through a platform or marketplace over a given period, measured before deducting fees, returns, or discounts. Investors watch GMV to gauge the raw size and growth of customer activity—like counting every ticket sold at a concert before subtracting organizer costs—while remembering it is not the same as revenue or profit.
