Arrive AI (NASDAQ:ARAI) introduced the AP3 Plus, an updated Arrive Point secure delivery endpoint now available for shipping.

Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Arrive AI (NASDAQ:ARAI) introduced the AP3 Plus, an updated Arrive Point secure delivery endpoint now available for shipping. The unit adds on-device computing and computer vision to detect packages, determine their orientation and status, and visually track them through the custody process.

Package data is stored locally, with cloud access depending on customer compliance requirements and optional cloud backup. Arrive OS software handles events and communication between machines through a new interface with the Arrive Point Network. The AP3 Plus retains the same size and supports human couriers and drones or robots able to interface with its opening automatically.

4 terms
autonomous mobile robots technical
"autonomous mobile robots (AMRs)"
Autonomous mobile robots are self-guided machines that move around workplaces—like self-driving carts or robotic helpers—to carry goods, inspect equipment, or perform routine tasks without a person steering them. They matter to investors because they can lower labor costs, speed up operations, and scale capacity much like adding more automated assembly lines, while also carrying adoption, integration and regulatory risks that can affect a business’s cost structure and growth prospects.
edge computing technical
"Edge computing and vision: The AP3 Plus hosts an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano"
Edge computing is a technology that processes data close to where it is generated, such as sensors or devices, rather than sending it all to a distant central location. This allows for faster decision-making and reduces delays, much like having a local office handle urgent matters instead of waiting for instructions from a main headquarters. For investors, it signifies improved efficiency and real-time insights, which can enhance the performance of technology-dependent industries.
computer vision technical
"Computer vision models running locally detect whether a package is present"
Computer vision is technology that gives machines the ability to 'see' and make sense of images or video, turning pixels into usable information like object counts, measurements, or activity patterns. For investors, it matters because it enables automation, cost reduction and new product features across industries—from quality checks on factory lines to retail analytics—so companies that adopt effective computer vision can boost efficiency, reduce labor needs and create competitive advantages.
chain-of-custody technical
"visually track it throughout the chain-of-custody lifecycle"
A chain-of-custody is the documented trail showing who handled, transferred, stored and accessed an asset, sample or record from origin to its final destination. Think of it like a series of signed receipts that prove an item was tracked and not tampered with. Investors care because a clear chain-of-custody preserves evidence, regulatory compliance and product integrity, reducing legal, valuation and operational risks that can affect company value.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN / ACCESS Newswire / October 7, 2026 / Arrive AI (NASDAQ:ARAI), a physical AI and autonomous logistics infrastructure company enabling drones, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), autonomous vehicles (AVs) and human couriers to securely exchange goods, today announced the AP3 Plus, the latest version of its Arrive Point™ secure delivery endpoint. The AP3 Plus is now available for shipping, and features edge computing and vision models that run on the unit to detect packages and determine their orientation and status.

The Arrive Point™ is a secure delivery endpoint where drones, robots, autonomous vehicles, and couriers can drop off or pick up a package without anyone waiting on the other end.

What is new in the AP3 Plus:

  • Edge computing and vision: The AP3 Plus hosts an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, enabling edge computing that keeps data processing and storage on the device, where the data is created. Computer vision models running locally detect whether a package is present, determine its orientation and status, and visually track it throughout the chain-of-custody lifecycle.
  • Local data, with cloud options - Package data is stored on the unit. Depending on a customer's compliance requirements, the data can also be accessed through the cloud, and customers can choose to back it up to the cloud.
  • Local event handling - Arrive AI's proprietary software platform, Arrive OS, handles events and communication between machines, including the state of a robot and whether the door is open or closed, through a new interface between the unit and the Arrive Point™ Network.

The AP3 Plus is the same size but has more functionality. It connects by cellular or Wi-Fi, runs on standard 120-volt power, and can be mounted on the ground, on a wall, on a pad, or free-standing on feet.

Any drone or robot that can interface with the opening in an automated way can use the AP3 Plus, along with human couriers.

"The AP3 Plus is a major step forward for Arrive AI, building on what we have learned to date from real-world Arrive Point™ use. Together, the new network and Arrive OS create a robust ecosystem with a better customer interface, a better data pipeline, cloud storage options, real-time package recognition, and package and user tracking," said Michael Trovato, Chief Technology Officer at Arrive AI.

"We believe the AP3 Plus represents an important evolution for Arrive AI and for autonomous logistics. The endpoint is no longer simply a secure place for a package to arrive - it is becoming an intelligent participant in the delivery itself. As drones, robots and autonomous vehicles proliferate, they will need intelligent infrastructure that allows them to securely interact with the physical world. We intend for Arrive AI to be that infrastructure."
