Recent corporate and capital return announcements often saw negative next-day moves, even when shareholder-friendly (e.g., buybacks and ESG reporting).
Over the last few months, BZ has focused on governance, disclosure, and capital return. The company expanded buybacks, deploying over RMB1.33 billion year-to-date by mid-May and lifting authorization to US$400 million. It also scheduled Q1 2026 results for May 20, 2026 and previously filed its 2025 Form 20-F and ESG report on April 29, 2026. Despite these shareholder- and transparency-oriented moves, the stock often traded down modestly after such announcements, suggesting a pattern of cautious market reception.
