government-wide acquisition contract regulatory
A government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) is a pre-approved, multiple-award purchasing vehicle used by a national government to streamline and standardize procurement of goods or services—often information technology and related professional services—across all federal agencies. For investors, being on a GWAC is like being on a vetted supplier list: it can shorten sales cycles, create recurring purchasing opportunities, and make future government revenue more predictable because agencies can order through the contract without running a full new competition.
