TOLEDO, Ohio, Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- EpicQuest Education Group International Limited (Nasdaq: EEIQ), ("EpicQuest Education", "EEIQ" or the "Company"), a provider of higher education for domestic and international students in the US, Canada and the UK, today announced that a record number of students are enrolled in its overseas foundational programs. Enrollment increased to 175 students for the Fall 2025 semester, an increase of 52% as compared to the Fall 2024–2025 academic year, and 218% over the last two years. EpicQuest Education's foundational programs are a key component of its core mission of internationalization.

"Foundational programs enable international students to study in their home countries to prepare for overseas study abroad while earning course credits they can use at our Davis University as well as at other top schools in the US," commented Zhenyu Wu, CFO of EpicQuest Education. "These programs provide high margin revenue to the Company, and we estimate that our current foundational programs will provide an annual revenue stream of at least $5 million for the 2025–2026 academic year."

Enrollment in Davis University's foundational programs grew to 175 students in the Fall of 2025, up from 115 students in the Fall of 2024, and 55 students in the Fall of 2023 — representing a 218% increase over the past two years. Foundational programs are a course of study for international students to acquire the skills needed to ensure their success at colleges and universities. The Company believes that Davis University's foundational programs represents sustainable revenue since the retention rate of students is close to 100%. In addition to this being a unique revenue stream for EpicQuest Education, the foundational programs creates a potential pool of future students to attend its owned and operated schools.

Davis University's foundational program students are enrolled in elite universities. The foundational programs are currently placed on the main campuses of  Shanghai Jiao Tong University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), both of which are preeminent universities in China. A total of 131 students are enrolled into these two programs, and 44 students are enrolled through the collaboration between Davis University and Immersion Academy. The Company typically places its own instructors in these programs and collaborates on academic programming for students.
