HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ERock, Inc. (NYSE: EROC), a recognized leader in reliable, large-scale onsite power solutions, today announced the appointment of Jason Altobelli as Chief Revenue Officer, effective immediately. Altobelli will succeed Allan Schurr, Chief Commercial Officer, who will retire from ERock effective February 1, 2027.

Altobelli brings more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of AI, Energy and Industrial technology. He joins ERock from Google Cloud, where he served as Global Head of Energy and Infrastructure Partnerships. In that role, he built commercial partnerships with utilities, energy producers and infrastructure developers, helping strategic partners leverage cutting-edge technology, accelerate delivery timelines, and develop new operational capabilities to better navigate the AI growth boom. His experience prior to Google spans sales, business development, and sales leadership roles in SaaS, networking infrastructure, and data center colocation.

In the role of Chief Revenue Officer, Altobelli will lead ERock’s utility, federal and data center commercial strategy and sales teams, strengthen customer relationships and advance commercial opportunities. He will work closely with leaders across ERock to align sales efforts with project execution and delivery.

“Our customers increasingly want one partner across power systems, turnkey installation solutions and long-term operations. Jason’s experience helping utilities, energy producers, and infrastructure developers put complex cloud, AI and data technologies to work will be invaluable as we expand those relationships,” said John Carrington, Chief Executive Officer of ERock. “I also want to thank Allan for his years of dedication, leadership and service to ERock. His work has played a pivotal role in shaping our organization, and we look forward to his continued leadership through the transition ahead.”

“ERock brings together an essential mix: reliable technology, an expert team, and turnkey solutions that address the gap impeding delivery for hyperscalers,” said Jason Altobelli, Chief Revenue Officer of ERock. “Gigawatt-scale customers and providers serving them need value across the power development lifecycle, from bridge, to flex, to backup and more. That combination, all in one place, is what drew me to ERock, and it gives us a strong foundation to serve not just faster access to power, but reduced cost and complexity for the long-term.”

Since joining ERock as Chief Commercial Officer in 2018, Schurr has played a significant role in market development, the expansion of resiliency solutions into bridge power applications, and strategic utility and data center industry partnerships. Following his retirement from the company next year, Schurr will continue with ERock in an advisory role.

“When I joined ERock, we were reinventing backup power. Today, our technology, operating experience, and full-service approach help customers meet a much broader need for dependable power,” said Allan Schurr, Chief Commercial Officer of ERock. “I am proud of what we have built together and confident in Jason and our leadership team as they carry that work forward.”

Key Terms

saas technical
SaaS, or Software as a Service, is a way of delivering computer programs over the internet, allowing users to access and use them through a web browser without needing to install or maintain the software themselves. For investors, it highlights a business model where companies generate recurring revenue by providing ongoing access to their software, often leading to predictable income and growth potential.
colocation technical
Colocation is the practice of placing a trader’s computer servers inside or next to an exchange’s data center so their orders travel the shortest possible distance to the exchange’s computers. For investors this matters because even tiny gains in speed can mean better trade prices or reduced slippage—like being first in line at a checkout—so firms that colocate can gain steady, measurable advantages or incur extra costs that affect returns.
