Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Illumisoft (FUVCF) has developed plans with CHAIR for a Canadian hospital research program evaluating its SaniLume ultraviolet air-disinfection device. The planned program comprises 13 linked studies, starting with two University of Waterloo studies on ventilation and air movement. CHAIR targets a November 2026 start, subject to funding that has not been secured.

CHAIR has non-binding letters of intent for planned facility-wide installations in Manitoba and British Columbia. Illumisoft expects a supply agreement with CHAIR, but unit counts, pricing and other terms remain unfinalized. Illumisoft has no program purchase orders and does not control its timing. Laboratory results do not establish clinical performance, which the program would evaluate.

Illumisoft's shares are now DTC eligible for electronic clearing and settlement in the United States; the company expects simpler trading and enhanced U.S. liquidity.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Illumisoft Also Announces DTC Eligibility

CHAIR-led program includes planned hospital installations in Manitoba and British Columbia and 13 linked studies, beginning with two studies with the University of Waterloo; studies targeted to begin in November 2026, subject to funding

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - October 28, 2026) - Illumisoft Lighting Corp. (TSXV: UVC) (OTCQB: FUVCF) ("Illumisoft" or the "Company") announces that it has collaborated with the Coalition for Community & Healthcare Acquired Infection Reduction ("CHAIR"), a Canadian not-for-profit coalition of scientists, physicians, engineers and infection prevention professionals, to develop plans for a Canadian hospital research program to evaluate the Company's SaniLume upper-air ultraviolet (UV) disinfection device. The Company expects to enter into an agreement with CHAIR for the provision of SaniLume units for the program.

CHAIR has entered into non-binding letters of intent with Shared Health and Winnipeg's Health Sciences Centre in Manitoba, and with the Provincial Health Services Authority in British Columbia, for planned facility-wide installations of SaniLume as part of the program. The program is planned to comprise 13 linked studies, beginning with two studies in partnership with the University of Waterloo: a bioaerosol chamber study comparing hospital ventilation rates with and without upper-air UV, and a computational fluid dynamics study of air movement in clinical spaces. The program is designed to measure the effect of SaniLume on airborne pathogens, surface contamination and transmission of respiratory viral illness. CHAIR intends to begin the studies in November 2026, subject to funding, which has not yet been secured.

Under the proposed agreement, Illumisoft would provide SaniLume units for the planned installations and studies. The number of units, pricing and other terms have not yet been finalized. Illumisoft is not a party to the letters of intent, has not received any purchase orders in connection with the program and does not control the program or its timing. There can be no assurance that the program will be funded, that the planned installations or studies will proceed, or that the Company will enter into a definitive agreement with CHAIR on the terms described or at all. CHAIR does not receive any compensation from Illumisoft and does not hold any interest in Illumisoft.

SaniLume is a Health Canada-licensed, fan-assisted upper-air UV device manufactured by Illumisoft in Ottawa. In chamber testing at the University of Leeds, reported in August 2022 and commissioned and funded by Illumisoft, SaniLume reduced airborne concentrations of the test organisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and the virus surrogate Phi-6 bacteriophage) by between 97% and 99.7%, depending on organism and device setting. Laboratory results do not establish performance in clinical settings, which the program is intended to evaluate.

"Our goal is to give hospitals a practical way to continuously disinfect the air while patients and staff remain in the room," said Ehsan Agahi, CEO of Illumisoft. "We have worked closely with CHAIR in developing this program. The proposed research is intended to help hospitals assess SaniLume's performance in clinical settings, understand its operational value and make informed decisions about potential broader adoption."

"We have engineered our way to cleaner rooms, cleaner sinks and cleaner surfaces," said Barry Hunt, Co-Founder and Executive Director of CHAIR. "Treating the air while patients and staff are in the room is the next step, and this program is designed to test whether upper-air UV can do that in real hospitals. We intend to begin the studies in November 2026, subject to funding being obtained."
