Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

2 terms
electronic money institution financial
"a Latvia-based licensed electronic money institution"
A regulated firm authorized to issue electronic money (a digital store of monetary value) and to provide related payment services and e-money accounts. Electronic money institutions hold customer funds to back the issued e-money and must follow licensing, capital, anti‑money‑laundering and safeguarding rules set by financial authorities; unlike banks they do not generally accept deposits or perform full banking functions unless separately licensed to do so.
change-of-control filing regulatory
"submitted the required change-of-control filing to the Bank of Latvia"
A change-of-control filing is a formal disclosure submitted to regulators, an exchange, or counterparties that announces a transaction or event that will (or has) shifted who controls a company—such as a merger, acquisition, sale of a controlling block of shares, or other transaction that transfers voting power. The filing explains the nature of the change, identifies the parties and material terms, and notes any regulatory, shareholder-approval, contract-triggered, or listing-rule consequences; specific filing forms and required content vary by jurisdiction and by the rule or contract that triggers the disclosure (for example, securities-law reports, exchange notices, or contractual notices to lenders and counterparties).

OMAHA, Neb., Oct. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSE American: EXOD) (“Exodus” or the “Company”), a leading self-custodial finance and payments platform, today announced September 2026 operating metrics in connection with its Web3 and Payment Processing services.

“September saw average daily volumes increase on both sides of our business,” said James Gernetzke, CFO of Exodus. “We also made progress on the banking and card issuance arrangements needed to expand our payments business.”

In Europe, preliminary onboarding activities have commenced with new program managers through an existing contractual partner, although card issuance under these arrangements has not yet resumed. Exodus continues to advance its previously disclosed acquisition of TigSiPay, SIA, a Latvia-based licensed electronic money institution, and has submitted the required change-of-control filing to the Bank of Latvia. Completion of the acquisition remains subject to regulatory non-objection and other applicable closing conditions.

Additionally, integration with an additional U.S. provider is now operational. These developments mark progress in addressing the European card-issuing and U.S. banking constraints discussed on our second-quarter earnings call and support our ability to onboard clients and expand card programs.

Exodus also continued integrating its combined operations and reducing expenses.

“Our focus is on growing Exodus and capturing market share in the evolving financial system, while completing the integration and lowering ongoing costs to support sustainable profitability,” Gernetzke continued. “Exodus’ headcount has decreased from 326 on May 1, 2026, the date of the acquisition, to 227 as of October 9, 2026. Personnel costs represent our largest operating expense.”
