Foresight Autonomous Holdings (NASDAQ:FRSX) announced that its subsidiary Eye-Net Mobile has entered into a proof of concept (POC) project agreement with Continental AG's startup subsidiary co-pace GmbH. The collaboration aims to evaluate integrating Eye-Net's vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology into Continental's road safety systems.

The POC consists of two phases: first, integrating Eye-Net's SDK into Continental's Telematics Control Unit, followed by real-world vehicle demonstrations. Both companies aim to conclude follow-on agreements by September 2025. The project represents a significant step toward enhancing Continental's V2X offering, which began with their 5G-Hybrid-V2X platform.

Insights

Continental's collaboration with Eye-Net validates Foresight's V2X technology while creating potential pathway to large-scale automotive industry integration.

This strategic collaboration between Foresight's subsidiary Eye-Net and Continental represents a significant validation of Eye-Net's vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology in the automotive safety landscape. The structured two-phase proof of concept approach—first integrating Eye-Net's SDK into Continental's Telematics Control Unit, then conducting real-world vehicle testing—follows industry best practices for evaluating new safety technologies before wider deployment.

Continental's interest is particularly noteworthy as they're building upon their existing 5G-Hybrid-V2X platform, suggesting Eye-Net's technology could complement and enhance Continental's established safety systems. For context, Continental is a tier-one global automotive supplier with approximately €44.3 billion in annual revenue (2023), making them a potential game-changing partner for commercializing Eye-Net's technology.

The safety implications are substantial. V2X technology enables critical communications between vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians, and other road users, creating an invisible safety net that works beyond line-of-sight limitations. If successfully integrated into Continental's ecosystem, Eye-Net's collision prevention system could reach millions of vehicles through Continental's extensive OEM relationships.

Investors should note the carefully structured timeline, with both companies aiming to conclude follow-on agreements by September 2025 if the POC proves successful. This methodical approach indicates serious commitment from both parties while acknowledging the technological validation still required before commercialization.

The project will evaluate the integration of Eye-Net’s advanced safety technology into Continental’s vehicle platforms

Ness Ziona, Israel, Aug. 26, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Foresight Autonomous Holdings Ltd. (Nasdaq and TASE: FRSX) (“Foresight” or the “Company”), an innovator in 3D perception systems, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Eye-Net Mobile Ltd. (“Eye-Net”), has signed an agreement for a proof of concept (POC) project with co-pace GmbH (“co-pace”), the startup-up subsidiary of the technology company Continental AG (“Continental”). The project is part of a strategic collaboration aimed at evaluating the feasibility of enhancing Continental’s road safety systems by integrating Eye-Net’s proprietary vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology.

The POC is structured in two phases: the first phase focuses on integrating Eye-Net’s software development kit (SDK) into Continental’s Telematics Control Unit (TCU). Following successful integration, the second phase will involve a real-world demonstration using actual vehicles, providing real-world validation of the technology's effectiveness and practical application potential. Future development phases and potential opportunities will be determined following the successful completion of the POC and subject to mutual agreement between the parties. Both parties will make their best efforts to conclude follow-on agreements by September 2025.

“Incorporating Eye-Net’s technology enhances our V2X offering, which started with our 5G-Hybrid-V2X platform,” said Douglas Cochrane, Head of Telematics Product Line, Architecture Network & Solutions at Continental. “Deploying V2X technology at scale is an important stepping stone for safer and more intelligent mobility.”

“At co-pace, we identify and support disruptive technologies that have the potential to transform mobility,” said Jürgen Bilo, Managing Director of co-pace. “Eye-Net’s technology offers a compelling solution to today’s road safety challenges, and we’re excited to explore its integration within Continental’s ecosystem.”

“This collaboration with Continental reflects the growing automotive industry recognition of our technology’s potential to support safer mobility,” said Haim Siboni, Chief Executive Officer of Eye-Net. “We look forward to working closely with Continental’s team to explore how our solution can be scaled within automotive safety platforms.”

The POC project demonstrates the companies’ shared commitment to innovation and their focus on addressing critical challenges in vehicle safety.
