"a cutting-edge Jones Act-compliant subsea rock installation vessel, from Hanwha"
A vessel or operation that meets the U.S. Jones Act’s requirements is built, registered, owned and crewed by U.S. interests so it can legally move goods or passengers between U.S. ports. For investors, Jones Act compliance matters because it restricts which ships and companies can serve domestic routes, often raising costs, limiting competition, and creating regulatory barriers that affect revenue, asset value and market access.

"cutting-edge Jones Act-compliant subsea rock installation vessel, from Hanwha"
A subsea rock installation vessel is a specialized ship that carries and places rocks or gravel on the ocean floor to protect and stabilize underwater infrastructure like pipelines, power cables and foundation bases. Think of it as a marine dump truck that builds a protective gravel bed to prevent erosion, movement or damage; for investors, demand for these vessels signals spending on offshore energy, telecom and marine construction projects and affects contractors’ revenue, project risk and capital needs.
