HPE Networking simplifies full stack deployment, management and troubleshooting with self-driving agentic operations

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

HPE (NYSE: HPE) today announced the integration of HPE Networking EdgeConnect with both HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central, bringing together HPE's premier SASE, wired access, and wireless LAN solutions together under a unified agentic framework. The integration extends HPE's self-driving networking strategy by delivering enhanced visibility and simplified agentic NetOps and SecOps capabilities from the edge to the cloud.

As enterprises become more distributed, user experiences and IoT use cases increasingly span campus, branch, WAN, cloud, and security environments. Yet network and security teams often lack a unified view across these domains, making it harder to troubleshoot issues, maintain security, and deliver consistent digital experiences.

"Enterprise networks have become too complex to manage through isolated tools and domains," said David Hughes, SVP & GM, SASE and Security for Networking, HPE. "By bringing HPE Networking EdgeConnect together with HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central, we're combining our best AI, wired, wireless, and SASE innovations into a single operational experience that gives customers greater visibility, automated protection, faster issue resolution, and a clear path to self-driving operations."

Driving NetOps and SecOps Value

HPE Networking EdgeConnect delivers unified SASE, which brings together advanced SD-WAN and SSE to securely connect branch locations and employees to applications wherever they are while improving performance and resilience. Additional built-in security features help protect users, applications and branch offices from cyber threats, while also simplifying network management.

“HPE Networking is becoming an increasingly important driver of HPE’s growth strategy and a connective layer for the AI-ready enterprise,” said Bob Laliberte, Principal Analyst & Founder at Liberte Research Group. “HPE Marvis is expanding as a common intelligence layer, while HPE works to bring together the strengths of HPE Mist, HPE Aruba Central and the broader Juniper portfolio without forcing customers into disruptive migrations.”

“The convergence of SASE, wired, and wireless LAN under a unified agentic model is a logical and necessary evolution for enterprise networking,” said Zeus Kerravala, Founder and Principal Analyst, ZK Research. “HPE’s move to bring EdgeConnect into Mist and Aruba Central isn’t just about consolidation—it’s about giving enterprises the proactive, self-driving capabilities needed to protect performance and user experience across edge-to-cloud environments.”

By bringing HPE Networking EdgeConnect into HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central, SASE customers can benefit from the full power of HPE Marvis, the AI engine and assistant used across the whole HPE self-driving network. This includes self-driving actions via an agentic mesh that replace manual effort with trusted automation, user experience twinning that finds and fixes problems without users being present, a Large Experience Model (LEM) that predicts and prevents issues with key applications like Zoom and Teams.

Existing HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central customers gain integrated access to advanced unified SASE capabilities, including application-aware routing, WAN optimization, integrated security, and seamless Security Service Edge (SSE) integration.

Customers using HPE’s full stack of wired, wireless and SASE solutions will have end-to-end visibility and control to optimize user experiences from edge to cloud, with full deployment flexibility across on-premises, cloud and virtual private cloud.

Together, HPE Networking EdgeConnect, HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central create a unified AI-native foundation for networking and security, enabling organizations to deliver better user experiences, reduce operational complexity, and accelerate their journey to self-driving operations.

Availability: HPE Mist will be available for HPE Networking EdgeConnect during CY26. HPE Aruba Central will be available for HPE Networking EdgeConnect in the first half of CY27.

Key Terms

sase technical
SASE, or Secure Access Service Edge, is a modern technology that combines network security and access management into a single, cloud-based service. It ensures that users can safely connect to company resources from anywhere, much like having a secure, virtual gatekeeper that protects digital information. For investors, SASE matters because it reflects how organizations are adopting advanced security measures to support flexible, remote work environments and protect valuable data.
sd-wan technical
SD‑WAN is a technology that uses software to control and direct wide-area network traffic between offices, data centers and cloud services instead of relying solely on traditional hardware routers. Think of it as a smart traffic manager that chooses the fastest, cheapest or safest route for each data flow, improving performance, cutting telecom costs and simplifying upgrades. Investors care because it can lower operating expenses, enable faster cloud adoption and create steady demand for networking and security services.
sse technical
SSE is the Shanghai Stock Exchange, a major regulated marketplace in China where shares, bonds and other securities are bought and sold. Think of it as a large auction house that sets prices and rules for trading; its listings, trading activity and regulatory decisions shape liquidity, company valuations and how easy it is for investors to buy or sell Chinese assets, so changes there can affect portfolio value and market sentiment.
