Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

HOUSTON, Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HyOrc Corporation (OTCQB: HYOR) today reported strong industry engagement following the Company's presentation at the Dow Jones: OPIS World Methanol Conference in Rotterdam, where CEO Reginald Fubara presented HyOrc's waste-to-methanol technology and commercial deployment strategy.

The presentation focused on HyOrc's proprietary refuse-derived fuel (RDF)-to-methanol platform and the Company's target of producing low-carbon methanol at a levelized cost of approximately €350 per tonne.

HyOrc's targeted economics are driven in part by its differentiated feedstock model. Rather than purchasing conventional feedstock, the Company's platform is designed to utilize prepared RDF derived from non-recyclable waste streams that can attract gate fees. HyOrc also integrates process heat recovery and internal power generation to reduce external energy requirements associated with methanol production.

"A recurring issue throughout the conference was the economics of producing low-carbon methanol at scale," said Reginald Fubara, CEO of HyOrc. "Our approach starts from a fundamentally different position: using waste as the carbon resource and designing the process around competitive underlying economics. The level of interest following our presentation showed us that this approach resonated strongly with the industry."

Following the presentation, representatives of major international energy companies and other industry participants approached HyOrc to discuss the Company's technology, commercial economics and potential areas of cooperation.

The discussions are preliminary, and no agreements or commercial arrangements have been entered into as a result of the conference. However, management believes the level and quality of inbound interest provides encouraging evidence of market interest as HyOrc advances its first Porto commercial waste-to-methanol deployment.

Fubara added. "We are now following up on those discussions and evaluating where there may be genuine opportunities to work together as we move into commercial deployment."

The Dow Jones World Methanol Conference brings together methanol producers, energy companies, traders, technology providers and other industry participants from across the global methanol value chain.
