JetBlue Vacations (Nasdaq: JBLU), in collaboration with the Jamaica Tourist Board and WeatherPromise, today announced a first-of-its-kind “Great Weather Guarantee” for Jamaica vacation packages. The new destination-specific offering gives customers $500 back if it rains more than promised during their trip, at no additional cost.
JetBlue Vacations was the first airline vacation brand to partner with WeatherPromise in 2025, introducing rain protection for Flight + Hotel packages. With the launch of the Great Weather Guarantee in Jamaica, JetBlue Vacations becomes the first in the industry to integrate a destination-based weather guarantee directly into a vacation package.
From March 1–May 31, 2026, eligible Jamaica Flight + Hotel packages* will include the Great Weather Guarantee built directly into the booking, which continuously monitors weather conditions using advanced data analytics, satellite imagery and radar technology. If rainfall exceeds the unique threshold set for each trip, customers will receive $500. If the conditions are met, customers are notified and can quickly select how they would like to receive the $500 payout. After booking a Jamaica Flight + Hotel package through JetBlue Vacations, customers receive a personalized dashboard outlining their coverage details and what conditions would activate a payout from WeatherPromise.

The Great Weather Guarantee is included on new Jamaica vacation package bookings of 3–16 nights made between March 1 and May 31, 2026, for travel through December 1, 2026. Travel must begin at least seven days after booking to qualify.

* Great Weather Guarantee Promotion Terms & Restrictions: Must book a new JetBlue Vacations package (roundtrip flights + hotel) between 3/1/26 – 5/31/26 (11:59 PM ET) for travel between 3/11/26 – 12/1/26 to Montego Bay (MBJ) or Kingston (KIN), Jamaica, with a minimum 3-night and maximum 16-night stay. Flight departure from the origin city must be at least 7 days after the booking date, and all travel must be fully completed by 12/1/26. One (1) complimentary WeatherPromise will be issued per booking; the lead traveler will receive a separate confirmation email from WeatherPromise within twenty-four (24) hours of booking containing their specific weather triggers and a link to a personal WeatherPromise dashboard to monitor conditions in real-time. Any changes to bookings must be made by 11:59 PM ET on 5/31/26 to remain eligible; changes or cancellations after this date or those that do not comply with terms will result in the WeatherPromise being forfeited. For changes, you will be responsible for any increase in package price. Changes/cancellations must be in accordance with JetBlue and hotel policies and will include any applicable hotel or other Travel Supplier Penalties.
