Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

4 terms
non-gaap financial
"Non-GAAP adjusted figures exclude this benefit."
Non-GAAP refers to financial measures that companies use to show their earnings or performance without including certain expenses or income that are often added back to give a different picture. It matters because it can make a company's results look better or more favorable, but it may also hide important costs, so investors need to look at both GAAP (official rules) and non-GAAP numbers to get a full understanding.
View in glossary
gaap financial
"A reconciliation of GAAP to non-GAAP measures is included."
GAAP, or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, are a set of standardized rules and guidelines that companies follow when preparing their financial statements. They ensure consistency, transparency, and comparability across different companies, making it easier for investors to understand and compare financial information accurately. This helps investors make informed decisions based on trustworthy and uniform financial reports.
View in glossary
convertible senior notes financial
"Convertible senior notes, net"
Convertible senior notes are a type of loan that a company issues to investors, which can be turned into company shares later on. They are called "senior" because they are paid back before other debts if the company runs into trouble. This allows investors to earn interest like a loan but also have the chance to own part of the company if its value rises.
asp financial
"due to higher ASPs and operational efficiencies."
Average selling price (ASP) is the typical price a company receives for a single unit of a product or service, calculated by dividing total revenue by units sold. Investors watch ASP because it shows whether a company is successfully charging more or less for its offerings — like checking the average price per loaf of bread a bakery sells — which directly affects revenue, profit margins, and the health of future sales.

Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures

LeMaitre management believes that in order to better understand the Company's short- and long-term financial trends, investors may wish to consider certain non-GAAP financial measures as a supplement to financial performance measures prepared in accordance with GAAP. Non-GAAP financial measures are not based on a comprehensive set of accounting rules or principles and do not have standardized meanings. These non-GAAP measures result from facts and circumstances that may vary in frequency and/or impact on continuing operations. Non-GAAP measures should be considered in addition to, and not as a substitute for, GAAP financial performance measures. In addition to the description provided below, reconciliation of GAAP to non-GAAP results is provided in the financial statement tables included in this press release.

In this press release, the Company has reported non-GAAP sales growth percentages after adjusting for the impact of foreign currency exchange, business development transactions, and/or other events. The Company refers to the calculation of non-GAAP sales growth percentages as "organic" or “adjusted.” The Company analyzes non-GAAP sales on a constant currency basis, net of acquisitions and other non-recurring events. Because changes in foreign currency exchange rates have a non-operating impact on net sales, and acquisitions, divestitures, product discontinuations, factory closures, and other strategic transactions are episodic in nature and are highly variable to the reported sales results, the Company believes that evaluating growth in sales on a constant currency basis net of such transactions provides an additional and meaningful assessment of sales to management. Additionally, the Company has provided percentages for Q3 2026 operating income, gross margin, operating expense and EPS, as well as operating income and EPS guidance, adjusted to exclude the effects of the employee retention tax credit received in 2025.  Management believes that viewing growth in these measures excluding those effects provides an alternative and meaningful view of the Company’s profitability.

Investors are encouraged to review the reconciliation of these non-GAAP financial measures to their most directly comparable GAAP financial measures set forth in the tables captioned “Reconciliation of GAAP to Non-GAAP Financial Measures” below.

FAQ

AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.

What is LeMaitre's full-year 2026 sales and EPS guidance?

LeMaitre forecasts $274.8–$276.8 million in sales and $2.77–$2.82 in EPS for 2026. Both midpoints represent 11% growth; the EPS midpoint represents 18% growth against the adjusted prior-year baseline. The outlook includes the newly acquired B. Braun products.

What did LeMaitre acquire from B. Braun?

LeMaitre acquired certain B. Braun vascular assets for $19.2 million in October. They comprise polyester and silver-coated grafts, valve cutters and vein strippers. The products recorded $9.4 million in 2025 sales, all outside North America.

What are the record and payment dates for LeMaitre's quarterly dividend?

The $0.25-per-share quarterly dividend is payable on December 3, 2026, to common stockholders of record on November 19, 2026. The board approved the dividend on October 27, 2026.

Why do LeMaitre's Q3 2026 adjusted comparisons differ from GAAP comparisons?

The adjusted comparisons exclude the employee retention tax credit benefit received in Q3 2025. That prior-year benefit affects comparisons for gross margin, operating expenses, operating income and EPS. The adjusted measures supplement rather than replace GAAP results.
