Stride Inc. (NYSE:LRN) subsidiary Road2Teach has received approval from the Indiana Department of Education to offer its Special Education Transition to Teaching program. The program addresses Indiana's critical special education teacher shortage, where over 20% of teaching vacancies are in Special Education roles serving more than 188,000 students with disabilities.
The fully online program provides an alternative certification pathway for career changers and non-traditional learners to obtain Indiana teaching licenses. The curriculum includes virtual coursework, intensive mentorship, and preparation for Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement requirements.
