NordX Metals (NRDMF) has applied for a 34,459-hectare exploration licence to expand its Norr Döttern uranium project in northern Sweden. The proposed Norr Döttern 102 licence adjoins existing ground to the north and south.
Resampling historical Långträsk core returned 4.4 m at 1,305 parts per million (ppm) U3O8, including 1 m at 2,034 ppm. Other intervals included 6.2 m at 471 ppm and 53 m at 131 ppm. Mineralization remains open in all directions, but new assays averaged 24% below historical values.
Radon gas surveys confirmed historical targets and identified new anomalies at Norr Döttern and Flistjärn. Damp or wet soil at all survey stations may have reduced readings; moisture inside some cups may also have affected measurements. The southeastern Långträsk anomaly may partly reflect uranium-rich boulders rather than underlying mineralization.
NordX Metals (NRDMF) reported shallow uranium mineralization in the first diamond drillhole at its wholly owned Riutta project in Finland. Hole SWM26001 returned 2.35m at 0.62% U3O8, uranium oxide, from 9.4m downhole, including 1.1m at 1.10%. It was collared approximately 40m north of historical hole AREVA DH1. NordX says the intercept supports its revised interpretation of the mineralized structure.
The company has drilled 19 holes totalling approximately 995m and expects to finish within two days, with 20 holes totalling approximately 1,070m across three target areas. Only the first hole has assay results. Historical results remain independently unverified. Uranium assays are non-accredited determinations; additional dilution may increase measurement uncertainty. Testing also identified minor sample-preparation contamination and duplicate variation above the generally applied acceptance threshold.
NordX Metals (NRDMF) reported that shareholders elected all five director nominees at its September 24, 2026, annual general meeting. Votes for the nominees ranged from 98.812% to 98.816%, with 81,939 to 82,249 votes withheld.
Shareholders represented 7,005,626 common shares in person or by proxy, equal to 16.02% of issued and outstanding common shares at the meeting’s record date. Shareholders also approved the reappointment of Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton LaBonte as auditor for the ensuing year and authorized directors to set the auditor’s remuneration.
NordX Metals (NRDMF) reported high-grade uranium assay results from July–August 2026 rock chip sampling at its Flistjärn and Norr Döttern projects in Sweden.
At Flistjärn, 15 samples averaged 3.3% U3O8, ranging from 24 ppm to 16.1% U3O8. Outcrop samples from a single exposure on a lithological contact assayed 15.2% and 11.7% U3O8, and 10 of 15 samples exceeded 0.25% U3O8. A mineralised NE–SW fault was mapped over about 890 m of strike, and historically documented surface uranium occurrences were confirmed and extended.
At Norr Döttern, 39 samples averaged 6,226 ppm U3O8, from 7 ppm to 6.95% U3O8. Four outcrop samples along a 5.5 m by 2 m historical trench (ND2) returned up to 6.95%, 4.64%, 2.28% and 1.97% U3O8. Fourteen of 39 samples exceeded 0.2% U3O8, and multiple historical uranium occurrences and prior drill intercepts were confirmed, though historical data are treated as non‑reliable without verification.
NordX Metals (NRDMF) has begun a diamond drilling program at its 100%-owned Riutta uranium project in eastern Finland, targeting historical uranium-bearing structures across three priority areas.
The 2026 campaign comprises approximately 1,000–1,500 m of core drilling at Ristimonttu, Unimonttu and Kolmosviuhka, using revised drill azimuths based on a new structural interpretation. Drilling will follow up historic intercepts such as Areva DH1 (11.3 m grading 0.68% U3O8, including 3.7 m at 1.52% U3O8) and surface scintillometer readings up to 65,500 CPS at undrilled trench sites. Riutta lies about 12 km south of the historical Paukanvaara uranium mine and hosts structurally controlled, low-temperature hydrothermal uranium mineralization. The company cautions that historical exploration results have not been independently verified and should not be relied upon.
NordX Metals (OTCQB: NRDMF) reported assay results from a historical core resampling program at its 100%-owned Riutta uranium project in eastern Finland. The best interval from AREVA drill hole DH1 at the Ristimonttu prospect returned 11.3 m grading 0.68% U3O8 from 21.20–32.50 m downhole, including 3.7 m at 1.52% U3O8 between 28.30–32.00 m, with an estimated true thickness of 8.6 m.
Other new intervals include 2.0 m at 0.20% U3O8 (including 0.5 m at 0.66% U3O8) in AE‑7, 0.85 m at 0.094% U3O8 in DH1, and 2.6 m at 0.17% U3O8 in EP038. According to NordX, anomalous copper and silver were locally present, with assays up to 0.45% Cu and 46 g/t Ag in DH1. A QA/QC program using certified standards, blanks and duplicates at CRS Laboratories Oy (ISO/IEC 17025 accredited) returned results within acceptable limits, supporting assay reliability.
NordX Metals (OTCQB: NRDMF) reports that Sweden’s policy moves are directly relevant to its Swedish projects. On June 26, 2026, the Swedish Geological Survey (SGU) designated the Gold Line Belt, which hosts NordX’s 100%-owned Duobblon Uranium Project (~630 ha), as an Area of Importance. On July 23, 2026, the Swedish Government published a new national mineral strategy targeting faster, more predictable permitting, expanded exploration and higher extraction of concession minerals, including lithium.
The strategy seeks extraction, or environmental permits or exploitation concessions, for strategic raw materials such as lithium by 2030, and notes the removal of Sweden’s uranium exploration and mining prohibition effective January 1, 2026. According to NordX, these changes support continued advancement of its wholly owned, drill-defined Bergby Lithium Project (7,897 ha), already designated a project of national interest since December 9, 2024.
NordX Metals (CSE: NRDX, OTCQB: NRDMF) reported initial assay results from early-stage outcrop and boulder sampling at its 100%-owned Norr Döttern, Märrviken and Flistjärn uranium projects in Sweden. At Norr Döttern, 13 analysed samples averaged 687 ppm U3O8, with grades ranging from 6.5 ppm to 2,735.7 ppm U3O8, and one sample also showing anomalous silver and zinc. At Märrviken, uranium-bearing samples averaged 398 ppm U3O8, while sulphide-hosted mineralization averaged 0.97% Zn, including individual assays up to 37.7% Zn, 2.87 g/t Au and 681.6 ppm U3O8. At Flistjärn, eight rock-chip samples averaged 90.9 ppm U3O8, with a maximum of 442.2 ppm. According to NordX, these results align with historical Swedish government work and will guide Q3 2026 mapping and chip sampling at Norr Döttern, targeting a potential winter 2026–2027 drilling program.
